It seems like The rabbit demon possesed some strong man Hyuuga somehow carrying Hamura traits and applying them on the possesed man.

He has the sun and moon symbols on his back so he's obviously tied with Yin-Yang and he has a Byagugan which means he's probably connected to Kaguya.

Wouldn't that be a plot twist.

You could say that even works, as it's commonly believed that Hamura was the ancestor of the Uzumaki too. That would explain Hidan's immortality, it being down to life force.

But that's probably just pie in the sky. All we can guess for sure is that this villain shares some relation to the Otsutsuki considering he has the Yin and Yang seal pattern as a crest.
