This film will only be palatable to NaruHina fans and those who don't care, I can't stand NaruHina and so the film will grate on my nerves and that seems to be all it is about with a filler mixed in, I can't sit through that, sorry.

So you are clearly not up-to-date in terms of the manga.

Just as shown in the trailer and Kishi's statement released a week ago, the movie is canon and may even lead to a 3rd part (Probably only in anime though)

Black Zetsu soloed fully-powered Rikudou Madara with Rinnesharingan, with such a cheapshot in place even the Blood Prison is worthy of being canon.

On a serious note, accordingly with the content of the released information, the movie does seem like a canon.

Upon comparison with Dragonball, it can't be worse as anything released after DBZ.

God that villain looks lame as all hell.

Its also stupid as hell he can't be ōtsutsuki, Kaguya had two sons, one of which gave us the Senju and Uchiha. The other likely gave us the Hyuuga and of course the clan of this fancy pretty boy. Why would their clan keep the name where as all the rest did not??
