Naruto The Last
The story starts two years after the final battle of naruto and sasuke. Naruto walks into the hokage's mansion for his new assignment. He sees Kakashi in the hokage's office wearing a robe stating sixth hokage. He thinks of Tsunade's words "There will be no country without an exceptional medical ninja and I will make sure that the will of my grand father is inherited by all". Kakashi tells him that there is some mystery going on the land of mist where the local people are killed and as team with shikamaru, kiba he should take care of the matter. He also questions how his hands are healing after the surgery. With grin he says its nothing and its already healed.
The Team with shikamaru as the leader travels to the land of the mist. They were shocked to see that the people are being absorbed of their chakra. After several encounters of near death fights with an unknown enemy they come to know that those enemies are not earthly origins by investigating their dead bodies.
They return to konoha to report the matter where they come to know that hanabi has been kidnapped by a rinnegan user. They suspect this to be the doings of now wandering ninja Sasuke Uchiha but naruto denies this. Now the current members along with Sakura,Ino and Choji joins the team on a quest to find Sasuke. On the way Naruto tries to sense hinata's chakra using kurama's sage mode but of no use and ends up finding sasuke's chakra near the land of Irons.
Sasuke's flashback of how he heals along with naruto and his path to gain worldly knowledge made him depart to the village with consent of naruto and promises to return when he is needed is shown. Naruto meets up with sasuke and questions about Hinata... Sasuke replies negatively Kiba becomes angry and pounces on Sasuke. Inorder to control the situation naruto goes to kurama mode suddenly he sees hanabi's chakra the forest area where Hashirama trained for his Sage mode. But it lasted too short. The team left to the forest without sasuke who is enraged by their activities.
In the forest, the team came to meetup with those creatures they already fought. After a fierce battle they defeated about 100 creatures they proceeded. After a few distance, they saw a shadow suddenly they were attacked by a huge wall of flames emerging from the shadows. It was shown to be MADARA UCHIHA. They cant believe their own eyes. After awesome new jutsu usage the team defeats the Uchicha and found that it was a clone. They cant believe a CLONE WITH SUCH HIGH RESERVES OF CHAKRA its impossible even Madara.
They saw a Castle in the center of the forest. Inside the castle they encountered a person similar to that of Kaguya they fought earlier along with hanabi unconsious. The entire team was out matched before his power. When he realises that naruto has more potentials than the rest he pins down naruto and shifts a fatal blow. Out of nowhere a Susanoo arm grabs Naruto and attacks the person throwing him off few feet. The person flees from that place along Hinata stating that "You two are my actual opponents.You will know more about me when we meet next time"
