i was reading the manga and wachting the anime and i was wondering when is naruto becoming a chuuning because he is still a genin.

he and sasuke both have to take the exams, that's why they won't become hokage. They have to progress through the stages before becoming hokage. You don't just go from recruit to 5 star general.

Some other qualified jounin is going to swoop it from under them... like sakura
