Life Left Behind
Sasuke walked through the rocky plain, to a few small rocks that was about 10 inchesinches in the air. He looked at the sky. So peaceful..
He began to reminisce.
Sasuke:Nii-san, Nii-san!
Itachi was alarmed at his brother's excitement to his entry.
Sasuke: Nii-san! Welcome home! Let's play! What should we play today?
Mikoto sighed.
Mikoto: Now sasuke, your brother has his academy work to do, he's soon to be a ninja! Play after he is done.
Sasuke: Aww.
Itachi let out a soft smile.
Itachi: Please, mother. I will do my homework later on. I mean, it's easy.
Mikoto: Oh, alright. Be safe!
The two head outside, to the woods.
Sasuke: What to play.. What to play..
Itachi: How about Hide and Go Seek? I'll hide, you seek!
Sasuke smiles.
Sasuke: Alright, nii-san!
Itachi runs off into the forest, having a devious plan up his sleeves.
Sasuke: Where could he have gone..
Sasuke runs straight through the forest, checking every tree, up and down for Itachi, but to no avail. He begins to stop to regain stamina.
Sasuke: Huff.. Nii-san.. really hides well..
Suddenly, in the midst of Sasuke regaining his energy, a wild, black bear appears. It towers over sasuke with it's mouth foaming.
Sasuke: I.. Itachi.. Nii-san, help me!
That cry signaled Itachi immediately.
Itachi: Sasuke!
Itachi appeared from behind his tree, kicking the bear in the back of it's head, which allowed him to attach himself to the enormous bears head. He then grasped it's ears tightly, and flipped it over.
Sasuke: Nii.. san..
The bear got up, growling ferociously, infuriated. As it was going to attack the Uchiha Brothers, it was stopped by Itachi's glare. The orange glare that could stop even the fiercest of warriors; the sharingan.
Itachi: Never turn by this boy's path again, understand?
The bear growled in discomfort, and galloped away, deep into the woods.
Itachi: You alright, Sasuke?
Sasuke grinned.
Sasuke: Found ya, nii-san!
Itachi smirked.
Itachi: Very good, Sasuke. However..
Doing the ram hand-seal, itachi disappeared into a flurry of smoke.
Sasuke: Wah.. a bunshin?!
Sasuke: No faair! That's cheating!
Fugaku: What do you keep bothering Itachi about, Sasuke?
Sasuke: Oh yeah dad, I forgot to tell you! Itachi used the bunshin technique while we were playing hide and go seek and activated the -
Itachi stopped his brother by slightly poking him with the chopsticks.
Fugaku: Ah, so you can use the bunshin technique, eh?
Sasuke: Nii-san, after we finish, can you teach it to me?
Mikoto scolded.
Mikoto: Itachi has homework!
Sasuke pouted. Itachi grinned and poked Sasuke's head.
Itachi: Sorry, sasuke.. I'll teach you some other time.
Itachi: It's getting late. We should head home.
Sasuke: You said you would teach me how to do that shurikenjutsu technique!
Itachi: I'm sorry, but I've got an important mission tommorow, and I've gotta prepare for it.
Sasuke: Tch, Liar.
As itachi turned home, sasuke grinned. He grabbed the kunai in his hand and charged recklessly at itachi. Itachi countered his little assault, and poked sasuke in the head.
Sasuke: Ow!
Itachi: Sorry, Sasuke.. maybe some other time.
Sasuke proceeded to ride home, upwards-piggyback style on the backside of Itachi.
Sasuke: Nii-san, will you practice with me again anytime soon?
Itachi: Alright, but I have missions to concentrate on, and you will start at the academy tomorrow, not giving us much time at all. We won't have much time together.
Sasuke: I don't care.. as long as we're together.
Itachi: Heh..
He approaches sasuke, as his hands reach the forehead of Sasuke, he loses the energy and it nearly falls to the ground, but he prevails. He pokes sasuke in the head, one last time.. He smiles.
Itachi: m' Sorry, Sasuke.. There won't be another time..
Time..
Karin: Sasuke.. I don't wanna see you like this. What's your choice..?
Sasuke wiped the tears from his eyes.
Sasuke: Choice..?
Karin: What's your next goal..? You are in control of your life.. I'm just gonna be there to follow you.
Sasuke stands up.
Sasuke: My life.. I'm leaving behind. I don't care for it anymore. Starting from now on, I.. no, we are no longer snakes. We will remobilize, hatch out of the skin that is a snake and take flight..
Sasuke let's his right arm out, catching a hawk on it.
Sasuke: Starting from now, you, me, Suigetsu and Jūgo are Hawks.. Hebi is no longer existent.. We are now.. taka.
