Previous Chapters:
*Back home, Kumo layed on her bed tired, Awaiting the slumber about to embrace her.*
She then heard a faint tap on her window. She went to her window and saw peering inside, was Suta. "Come with me," he said in a grim tone. "I have something I need to show you." "Um.. okay? I'll be right out I guess." She proceeded to dress herself in casual clothes. "Alright, where are we going Suta?" She said with a bright smile. He did not say a word. Just motioned for her to come with him. Being a leaf ninja, and in the same squad, gave Kumo a sense of relief. They knew all to well about teamwork, the rigorous trials, especially the bell training. They then came to the village gate. Awaiting them there was a tall, dark shadowy figure. He quietly spoke to them, trying not to be overheard. "Why did you bring her here?" He said, an edge to his voice. "Forgive me master," said Suta. "I trust she wont say a thing to anyone." Frightened, and trembling, Kumo backed away slowly, fearing what would happen if she said anything. Suta then grabbed her hand. "Its okay Kumo, this is my dad. He's... Obi--" "Quiet!" Suta's father said, as he smacked Suta over the head. Confused, Kumo followed the suspicious duo, deep into the shadows of the woods. Here she saw what looked like to be a ritual. She then looked at Suta's father. She then felt dizzy..and stumbled back on the ground, then fell. Feeling lightheaded, she passes out. "Awww, it's gonna be okay. It'll all be over soon Kumo.." Said Suta. That was the last thing she heard before the darkness consumed her vision.
He didn't care very much for them, but it had came from his father, whom he loved so very much. He wanted to go train with his Sensei some more, but Sasuke was busy. He had to go see his brother, whatever that meant. Then Sukai noticed something was wrong. Abruptly, he picked up a phone and called Kumo. "No answer.. damn. I guess I better go check it out. It's probably nothing, she's probably just asleep." He said with a laugh. He proceeded to go over to Kumo's house. He knocked on the door a couple of times. Hinata Hyuga answered the door. "Oh hi Sukai, what brings you over here? Taking Kumo on a date?" Sh said with a playful grin. "No, I just wanted to say goodnight to her," He lied, worrying. "Lemme go get her" She said. After a couple minutes, She came back down, tears falling down her face. She told him she thought Kumo might've ran away. She pleaded with Sukai to find her. He took on the mission and ran to the leaf gates. "Kumo, what happened? Where are you?" He then ran out into the darkness, searching frantically for the girl. "Please, please be okay.."
"S--su-ta" Kumo said. "Hmm? Oh. It's just you.. well guess what? Your other team member is coming to save you! Great right?" Suta said sarcastically. He then checked if the ritual was ready, but it wasn't. Suta's father then cursed aloud. "This is gonna be troublesome, this little brat, how good is he Suta?" "Well, I was holding back last time I faught him. He may have been too, I couldn't really tell. But I can keep him busy father. Don't worry." Suta said, trying to impress his father. "..It's not him i worried about, It's the reinforcements.." Said Suta's father.
Fearing the worst, Sukai uses a messenger bird to tell his Father, and the Co-kages where he's gone.. He then proceeds into the forest, seeing an ominous light ahead of him, he dashes over to it. "Kumo, what have you gotten yourself into?"
"Gah! What was he thinking?" Said Kakashi. "We might as well go after him, we cant just ignore it.." Says Sasuke. "What are we waiting for!? Lets go!" Naruto says, enthusiastically. They then, with their incredible speed go after Sukai.
"..Hmm, you seem to be holding your own very well." Suta's father says coldly. "I--I haven't even shown you my full power yet!" Says Sukai, panting, hoping they don't call his bluff. He managed to get Kumo back safetly. Battle-damaged, Sukai, stumbles but regains his composure. "What you're doing, it's not gonna happen. We have complete control of this battle." Says Suta. " It's over!" He then lunges at Sukai with his Scythe, Fire infused. "What do you think you're doing Suta..." Inches away from Suta's face, Sasuke shows up. "..Tsukuyomi" Suta then falls in darkness. "Suta..." Says his father. "No matter, he wasn't of much use anyways..I will see you 'Shinobi' soon.. farewell.." He then fades into the night sky. "Huff, huff, looks like--we did it guys.." Says Sukai. He then falls down, right beside the one whom he had saved. "G--goodnight. Kumo." He says with a smile.

Thanks to Inotorious for the fire infused scythe idea. I hope you guys found this somewhat good. It's a little early so. XD And yes.. that is a love interest in the story. And Yes.. there is a theme to this chapter. Lets see if you can guess it! Hope you guys enjoyed!
