With the exception of the lead & color pages, the series are ranked by ratings in Japan. Most every Wednesday One Piece is #1 and Naruto is 2 or 3. This past week though Naruto got the #1 slot meaning that it and One Piece are in a close battle for the current best weekly chapters in Japan.

Also note: OP wont be coming out next week. Another thing is I think Bleach will go up a few spots next week and the week after considering the epic-ness of the series, currently.

Thought it was kind of funny that as many people that complain constantly about the series and where it's going that it's actually in a battle for the number 1 spot. These rankings have a month to 2 month delay so in reality we haven't even gotten to Obito's reveal yet.

These numbers don't mean shit to me, I still like One Piece 423 times better.

Give it 1-2 weeks, it'll go up a decent amount.

Doesn't matter, still like One Piece more.

Nothing wrong with liking one more, but it's interesting to see two great manga fighting for #1 in Japan.

I remember Thunderbolt being against OP A LOT, he made MANY threads about it being crap, THAN 1 day he started watching it and on NB he apologized to us OP fans and that he actually LIKES OP

I prefer Naruto, honestly.One piece has its moments, really, but those moments are often overshadowed by the extreme silliness, boring side characters ( depending on the arc), the slow pace, and the overall lack of direction.
