Cuz Sasuke knew Naruto would be stronger than him so he wanted a Sannin to. And plus Naruto had an advantage Jman train him for the Chunin exam and Kakashi train him.

Sasuke knew nothing about Jiraiya except that he was a Sannin and didn't even know what that was. His hatred for Itachi is what drove him to Itachi. Jiraiya didn't really train Naruto like Kakashi trained Sasuke. Jiraiya unsealed the seal Orochimaru put on Naruto then was teaching him how to summon which took 27 days! On the 27th day Jiraiya pushed Naruto off a cliff with a finger that blasted him a few yards away and then Naruto learned how to access some of the fox chakra. Sasuke learned chidori and lee's taijutsu with his Sharingan and increased his speed. Kakashi said Sasuke watched Naruto rapid growth and felt like he haven't grown and seeing Itachi made it worst. In Sasuke's eyes Itachi wanted nothing to do with him but was focused on Naruto.

Sasuke only got stronger (base) from taking that pill from the sound 4, it awakened his level 2 curse mark and made him stronger. That not training hard like Naruto now is it. Naruto base was stronger than Sasuke base (with 2 tomoe sharingans). Naruto spent most of his training with Jiraiya on trying to control the fox and without it would have be learning or strengthening old skills so without the fox Naruto would be stronger than Sasuke.

Umm not really. Jiraiya in sage mode can beat Sasuke with EMS. He can turn his hands/legs toad-like for increased speed like he did against Pain, physically stronger, can sense fast attacks and react in time, all of his jutsus are powered up, he'll use mud swamp river as soon as Sasuke use Sasunoo and sink him, frog song would paralyze Sasuke then be killed by Jiraiya, in close combat the sage chakra around Jiraiya will extend and hit Sasuke like Naruto vs pain, Ma toad can use dust cloud to weaken Sasuke sight like she did against Pain, Zabuza did to Kakashi and Kakashi did to Itachi's 30% clone with hidden mist and what Naruto did to Pain with a rasengan to the floor. But Frog song is what would really allow him to win, without then he would have less chances.

Okay, I'm going to sum this up. I don't care how they got their powers, I don't care how powerful they are. What matters is how strong their will is. Sasuke can't control himself thus lost himself into the darkness. Naruto not only managed to control himself, but he's managed to control the demon that hosts the source of unlimited hatred. <<<Naruto Wins>>>


Sasuke is powerful, but for all the wrong reasons. Not to mention can be manipulated with ease (Which can be a major fallback in a fight.)

Naruto is powerful, but fights for all the right reasons. He tends to attack without thinking, but always manages to think of a solution quickly.

Sasuke is a selfish bastard, he acts like the whole world revolves around him. I feel bad that his parents where slaughtered infront of him but he's not the only in pain. look at hinata, neji, tenten, naruto, lee, etc they all have one thing in common...they lost both parents or the other and you never see them complaining. And in the end he does the exact opposite of what itachi wanted him to he joins the akatsuki, and wants to destroy Konoha.
