Anyways on topic, it seems no matter how far you go for Sakura, my mind & feelings toward her don’t change at all. But as I come to think of it, this might work with regards to Tsunade.
I can also agree with what you said about the Hokages. Their strengths, powers, & abilities should not be misinterpreted as to who is the strongest but what they do in their village that gained them their positions and reputations. How they loved, praised, & respected by their friends, relatives, & the rest of the villagers must be the reason why we should most likely recognized them. Their will to save their countries & to achieve peace are one of the amazing traits I think the author wishes every readers could follow. Though, this is more impossible to attain in real life than having sharingan eyes.
People tend to express their opinions differently & there’s nothing much you can do about it. Some are aggressive, one-sided, some makes a lot of sense, while others are just totally arrogant. But no matter what they think of, or what they were trying to suggest, at the end of the day it’s still an opinion, so you can just ignore them, or respect them regardless of all the things they said against you, because after all, we are free to believe what we all want to believe. Well, I disregarded the constructive criticism part because majority of the members here are at their pre-teens, so I don’t think it matters anymore.
There are so many characters in Naruto series that I am really amazed. The first on my list is the 4th Hokage. Albeit of the fact that he rarely appeared in this manga, how the author portrait his love for his family & his village is very touching. I could even imagine myself, what would I be like if I’m going to have my own family. Next to him is Naruto, his will to never give up & how he show love & respect to others beside him are quite impressive as well. I wish I can do the same to others too. I could name few more, but I’m really tired at the moment, not to mention you covered most of it with the quotes you publicized.

Regarding the Sakura and opinion part, I understand, everyone has its opinions and beliefs and I respect that, generally. Why I say generally? Because I have a problem with people that are disrespectful and people that seem to hate something for no good reason. I mean, ok, I understand that you don't like Sakura but at least when you say it, do it in a respectful manner.
The thing is that thanks to this hate, Sakura has grown in my eyes more and more because it made me wonder about every bit of her action and I started studying her more and more and understood her actions. Although I have to admit that I resemble myself in some of her actions, hehe.
And yes, I agree that some of them are pre-teens but around here and there I have seen people who were suppose to be more mature given the fact their age. Or at least the age they were supposed to have. But meh, anyway...
I am not here to necessarily change anyone's mind about her, I'm just making some understand her actions and think about it, consider the fact that we could find ourselves in the same situation, sometimes.
I don't need someone's opinion to like something/someone. If it would've been for that, probably today I would've been a Sakura hater, but I am not.
I am not asking for people to start loving her, no, I am here to make people understand her actions better, that if she told Naruto she loves him it's not because she wanted to play bitchy with him, she did it to protect him.
And maybe she didn't even lie in the end... As Yamato stated himself that what Sakura shows for Naruto is more than simple friendship.
Yes, she hasn't forgot Sasuke, but she might start loving Naruto, who knows?
Anyway, as I previously stated, I am not here to make people love her, I am here to make people understand her and stop spreading unnecessary hate.
Regarding the hokage display of power thing, yes, everyone tends to just see the power each display in matter of jutsu, as I said before, but they forget about the true meaning of a hokage, what a hokage really means.
If we look at the moments when a Hokage was chosen... he wasn't chosen for its skills and level of mastering jutsus necessarily, he was chosen because of its dedication to the village. The purpose here was to protect the king - meaning the village, the next generation of kids. And yes, we have the 4th hokage, the best example of them all.
He didn't have so many powers, he just had sealing techniques and FTG and Rasengan. But he used that in an intelligent way and because he had something important to protect, even though he lost his life, look at the results now. Like you said, we should look at Naruto and what he has become.
