Naruto Storm 3 Final thoughts

After playing this game for a few weeks, I've come to a final impression. Although there are some good changes, it's not enough to cover up the game's weaknesses. The #1 problem that I've heard from fellow youtubers, is that the framerate problem is game-breaking. The game suffers from major audio syncing problems. The english dub just sucks. Boss battles are somewhat of a letdown. It's seems like CC2's development team spent so much time on naruto centered boss battles, that everything else suffered. So called other "boss battles were an immediate letdown. Tobi vs Konan was the worst one. Darui's fight was just straight up wack.

The hack and slash was repetitive and awkward at times. Missing characters from the story that prevent it from feeling "authentic" to the series, and CC2 said that manga readers would be happy but how am I suppose to. Major characters and some side events are missing from the narrative, so how can that feel authentic to the series?

My final strike with CC2 was the announcement of no DLC other than costumes. The gameplay remains broken, yet they can give out costumes but no patches? Guys, please save your money if you are on the fence about storm 3. Get metal gear revengeance, tomb raider, or god of war ascension. If you don't like those then get army of two: devil's cartel or save for Bioshock infinite which is about to drop soon. Please, CC2 needs a slap of reality. You cannot pull a call of duty on us and expect us to be be happy with what we got. Only casual gamers are satisfied with the game they just got, True gamers have dissected this game and can see that it is mostly identical to generations. Maybe naruto games need to be handed to a new developer and stray far away from CC2 & namco bandai.

It's ok, but only worth it when the price drops. There are way better games out there, that have actual effort put in. Get it used at gamestop when the price is right.

I dont like the dam lagging, even in an orange connetcion..
I hate that people abuse the instantaneous awakening..
and the tournamenst with special rules, those are won by luck not skill..

The cut scenes were so long and sucked. They focused on cut scenes more than the actual gameplay. The thing that bugs me though is that they never even patch the damn game.

IDK but I never have lag. And those who cry about abusing awakenings. Its in the game, people are going to use it. Get used to it.

But overall. I liked the game. Never had any of these so called "problems".

You must not know how to spot framerate problems. They are game breaking. Instant awakening may be in the game, but that doe not make it right. Just like how the frenzy pill was in generations, but that didn't mean it was right to be in there. Thing is, instant awakening does not belong in the storm series...period.

Honestly, they tried so hard to replicate what Storm 2's story and Storm 1's boss battles did and failed.

I've never had a problem with instant awakenings plus frenzy pill was hard to use for many. Most people would die using it lol

I still think the original Storm was the best. Most detail, with changeable jutsus, pre-match interactions, and the best story mode(imo).

I'm a "True" gamer and honestly I liked the game. What you said was 100% true though, the frame rate is horrible when calling out support, and when you're playing it in English the what they say does not match up with their mouths at all! The boss battles were iffy, I enjoyed all of them, but only about half of them were great. All in all though I still enjoyed the game, and I'm still playing it, doing side quests, even though I already have the platinum trophy, and have beaten it. I would honestly give this game an 8.5/10. It does't matter what game it is, there's always going to be some major problems. And the ones in this game, weren't all that bad in my opinion. Well that's what I think .
