Sasuke faced of with Ay, nardo was shown to face him way later.

Also nardo has fought all rinnegan users, i guess it was kishi's training for him to face sasuke, but get this nardo has always been weaker one vs one then any rinnegan user he came across.

Currently there isnt much help to naruto (maybe hamura?) thus he needs to catch up to sasuke.
