He said his speed is inconsistent, which it is, he provided scans where Naruto's speed should have got him out of situations like that but it didn't, Naruto is my favorite character behind Kakuzu obviously but those scans left me confused. A one armed Minato could get away from that tree but Naruto couldn't, it's bad writing.

Well, that much is obvious, plot dictates the powers of the characters, if plot requires Naruto to be put of out commision temporarly, he's not going to use his speed to his advantadge in said situation, just like Obito doesn't use his rinnegan techniques when needed, but the thread creator is known for trolling and baiting and he's saying that Naruto is just fast because of plot, which is obvious, but you can make a case like that for virtually every character in the manga, he's just doing it with Naruto on purpose to bait a certain fandom.

Yes but it could also be said Obito didn't use those techs because he only had one Rinnegan, that makes sense to me, I'd actually be more confused if he started busting out Nagato level Rinnegan techs with one eye.
