True, if it would happend it would be like this:
Minato: Naruto, let's stop for a moment and learn you the water element.
Naruto: A new element?, let's go!
Teleports away and after a week they come back and sees that Madara is stabbing everbody with his Susanoo sword because they just activated they infinite tsukuyomi.
Minato: Well, now we are f*****!
Naruto: Agreed
And they both get caught in the tsukuyomi and then the whole story ends there.

I suspect we will see a second nature affinity once Minato imparts the yang chakra into Naruto. It will help balance his chakra or w/e...at this point he will look even more like a sage.
Remember, when Naruto first got KM he could suddenly command the seals and even use the So6P versions on Kurama.
