naruto should develop rasenshield

basically rasenshield would be a rasengan that is flattened out and he could hold it in front of him to stop basic ninjutsu attacks....i say it has to develop some kid of defense cause his only defense now is stamina and his speed

If he wanted to do something like that, he could just hold out the Rasenshuriken and use it to shred any incoming attacks. In any case, something along those lines won't even be able to compete with the defense granted by the Kyūbi Cloak he already has.

Plus, we've already seen enough variations of the Rasengan. Enough is enough.
