He was most likely already 17 by the time he got on the boat, which was a ride that to 3-4 months. The first half of the war could have gone on for a year or so, leaving him at 18 years old at the time

.....hate to bust your bubble, but you are incorrect. The boat ride was complete filler, and we dont know how long the nations took to prepare for war. The war has ONLY gone on for several days, not even a WEEK yet. Im pretty sure the war is on its 2nd-3rd day/night.

Cmon you should be smarter sakura has just recently said she had been saving up chakra since the first half of naruto Which was 3 years. Naruto had taken 2 and a half years to train.. The whole events of Naruto shippuden have taken place in 6 months tops.

Some people with a higher growth spurt would look more older than someone in their age group.

Also Ninja battles take place very quickly. It may look like an hour or a day, but it is really 5-10 minutes. As with the battle with the Juubi. I would say about 20 - 50 minutes.

Another thing is the war era has probably gone on for more than 6 months now... All the major fights probably took weeks but we didn't realize. Also notice the time shifting in the sky, from night to day.

the war has only been 1 day and 2 nights long the entirety of shippuden has been 6 months naruto was 15 at the beginning he's now 16

17 tops sines He told Chakra Minato in the Pain Arc He was 16 and only weeks should have past from Pain Arc to War Arc. Naruto time is different from our wait for the Manga time.

Maaaybe 17 since he was 16 during Pain invasion and as you could see, the village has been repaired already. I doubt that can be done in days, more like a few months at least. But the war itself is 2-3 days
