Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm Generations Updates

I would like to know more about the mapping system or in other words, the world around you, is it gonna be like Naruto: Rise of a Ninja, and/or Naruto: The Borken Bond, or is it gonna be like Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 2, because the mapping system was better in Rise of the Ninja and The Broken Bond, in Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 was good, but not as good as the other two, well I'm just giving my opinion. :shrug:

The games were made by two very seperate companies so u should expect very different gameplay:shrug:

Kabutomaru, Could He Be in Naruto Generations?:​

Namco Bandai Games America has mentioned Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Generations will have 75 playable characters. Namco Bandai Games Japan and CyberConnect2 have both stated there will be over 70 playable characters, but have not specified an exact number. To date, actually, over 70 playable characters have already been confirmed. 71 to be exact.

The marketing of different numbers along with all of the speculation have left fans confused and hungry for a confirmation of the official count. We are hoping the number Namco Bandai Games America provided is correct, just because we Naruto fans love to have as many characters as possible! Whatever the final count ends up being though, we know there will be more then 71 characters. This comes from a tweet from CyberConnect2 in which they “safely say 71 is not the final number”!

So who hasn’t been revealed yet We don’t know for sure, but one character that we would love to play as is Kabutomaru! That’s Kabuto after he injected himself with Orochimaru’s cells.

A fan asked CyberConnect2 to give a smiley face as a response if there is hope for Kabutomaru. CyberConnect2′s response? A smiley face that looks like this: =0). Of course that is not a confirmation, but it does give us a little shimmer of hope that he could be a playable character! This next week or two will be real interesting. We’re expecting big news, especially since Generations releases next week in Japan!

i saw that picture of Kabutomaru and thought the post was confirming him! but there is stilll hope! if serious Tobi AAAND Kabutomaru is in it...then I will be completely satisfied. Sure Sound 4, Kurenia and my gal Anko arent playable.. but the additions of 1st,2nd,serious tobi, and kabutomaru will greatly make-up for the major disappointment i suffered! haha

A new Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Generations video has been released by Namco Bandai Games Japan! The video is very similar to the 9 minute trailer, except for a few parts which we noted as different and isolated into the video below! As you can see, they feature a combo from the Masked Man as well as video of online player matching, statistics, and customization menus.​

Famitsu Gives Ultimate Ninja Storm Generations a Score of 36/40

Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Generations is scheduled to be released in Japan next week on Thursday, February 23rd. That means popular Japanese magazine Famitsu has already gotten gotten their hands of a copy to review the game. Their verdict? A total score given was a 36/40! How did they come up with that score? Well, Famitsu generally has 4 staff members play the game and then give their opinion of it in the form of a score out of 10. The sum of their individual scores is the total score for the game. In other words for Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Generations, each of the four staff members gave it a 9/10 for a total of 36/40. That is a really good score, 90%, however, it is lower then Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 2, which earned a 39/40.

Just in case you are wondering, that does not mean Generations is inferior to Storm 2. If anything, the updated gameplay and battle mechanics make it look vastly superior! We’re not sure why the score was lower, but if we had to guess those 3 points were lost due to a different type of story mode. Generations is pure battle, Storm 2′s story mode had action/adventure and RPG elements in addition to battling. The diverse offerings of Storm 2 are certainly appreciated, but most of us only play story mode once. We believe players spend most of their time enjoying the battle, and that’s what Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Generations is all about!

Naruto Generations Card Edition Box Arts (European Exclusive):​

Countries around Europe will be enjoying a Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Generations Card Edition come March 30th. We’ve been seeing promotions at the very end of recent videos, but the images of the box art have been pretty small. Below are the European versions (UK and German, specifically) of the Card Edition box art in about a medium-sized resolution.

In case you are wondering, the Card Edition is exclusive to Europe. It will contain the Generations game itself, a special poster with words from Masashi Kishimoto, a collectible card game starter pack with 50 cards and a booster pack of 8 cards. These cards will allow players to unlock abilities and other bonus content through codes that can be entered in the game. We anticipate Namco Bandai Games Europe will provide more details about the Card Edition in the near future.​

It's of Kisame (with itachi) vs. Tobi (with Minato), there is ultimates and awakenings (but not tobi's unfortunately), still very worth the click over there, for anyone that can't wait for this thread to get updated .

YOSH! Namco Bandai Games Europe has released a brand new Naruto Generations gameplay video! It features the Duo of Fate, the Masked Man and Minato, taking on Dangerous Characters Kisame and Itachi! This is the first match-up in round 1 of the Naruto Generations tournament. Fans overwhelmingly voted for the Duo of Fate to be the winner. However, was that the fate of the match-up? Watch the seven minute CPU vs CPU video to find out!



Match 2 pits Jinchuriki Bee, Gaara, and Naruto against Leaf Higher-Ups Hashirama, Tobirama, and Hiruzen! Who do you think will win?​

On a side note that is one ridiculous ultimate tobi's got there, I wonder if it changes when he fight's naruto (kinda how Karin's used to when she fights sasuke)
