Now, in my opinion, I think the creators could've scraped up some decent jutsu for some of the support characters that would've made them playable, since creating combos doesn't seem to difficult, and if anything, they could've used a generic combo list. For example, I had really hoped Anko would've been made playable; her moveset could've looked something like this:
Jutsu: [Either One Would've Been Fine]
- Hidden Shadow Snake Hands
- Fire Release: Dragon Fire Technique
(For Those Who Read The Manga Exclusively, She's Performed This In The Anime, During One Of The Filler Arcs In Part I Of The Series)
Ultimate Jutsu: [Either One Would've Been Fine]
- Many Hidden Shadow Snake Hands
- Twin Snakes Mutual Death Technique
Combos/Tilt/Grab:
Most of them could've been designed to include snakes towards the end of a successful series of hits.
Awakening:
- Standard Attack/Speed Boost
- Cursed Seal Level 1 Mode [When playing against Orochimaru]
This is just a general example, but I'm sure most of you get what I'm saying; quite a few of the supports could've been playable, actually (i.e. Kurenai, The Sound Four).
Also, in terms of Awakenings, a few of the now playable characters needed an extra one or two. For example, Itachi could've had Tsukuyomi Mode (His Part I Form) in addition to Susano'o Mode (His Part II Form), seeing as his Ultimate Jutsu in Tsukuyomi Mode was extremely popular with most gamers (myself included). Other small things, like his UNS1 Grab are also missed.
One more thing that I've always wanted was the chance to use Awakening mode to its full potential; that is, being able to play from the beginning of the match in Awakened Mode - I don't see why the CPU gets to have that luxury in story mode while the gamers don't, Lol. I've never had the chance to see exactly what the characters are capable of because the match is usually over once someone awakens (assuming they play with extreme skill); that and the 20 or so seconds you remain in the mode are just too brief for my liking, though I do admit it's a fair precaution against making the fights broken.
All in all, these are just some things I think would make the game even more favored among players than it already is, and don't get me wrong, UNSG will be amazing enough. But hey, the little things really can change a whole lot, when you think about it.
