It aired last year in theaters across Japan. Its an April 2013 release because people have to grab ahold of the Japanese version and translate it for us to view online. It is kind of a harsh wait, but they are translating it for us out of pure dedication so we should be grateful and not complain. The alternative is to wait for the official dub/sub, and seeing how the dubbed version of the anime is still currently in the Pain Invasion Arc, I'd say theres still a good 5-8 years before its officially released (the dubbed anime is released by about 10 episodes every 3-4 months).
