I just watched the opening I have to say the song and the visuals were flawless!! The epsiode meh later I guess

Edit:Okay watched the episode , this shows these flashbacks are there for the money , since there was nothing in this episode , it's just because . Nothing really happened lol . I hope the JIRAIYA.KAKASHI is the last one

Enjoyable episode. Gives a nice further look into early life of Naruto. I usually hate filler but somehow don't mind this. 4/5.

This episode gives us more context about their lives and their first encounters, the contrast between Hinata's relationship to her family compared to Naruto who had no family and lived poor.
I think episodes showing us the history and lives of characters are valuable to the story because it gives me a better idea and conception of the characters, these episodes are some of the most interesting ones, especially the one about Itachi's coming up before.
