I don't think it was meant to be explosive it's about a path to redemption not a path to a slaughter path, not sure what you expected from a monk XD

I get that, but did they really need to spend over half the episode building a bridge? The pacing left a lot to be desired.

Ook on the bright side of this was kishi we would be 4 episodes deep but they just accelerated to Indra and Asura's birth :Sparks: Tobirama probably making Hagoromo hurry up, That Tobirama :flakez:

If this was Kishi, we would have gotten flashbacks when the battle with Kaguya was mentioned.

I personally thought it was boring, but there are some who liked it. I dunno. I think it's a either you love or hate it type of episode. There was some great character development in the episode though.

If this was Kishi, we would have gotten flashbacks when the battle with Kaguya was mentioned.

During the black zetsu flashback, kishi does use flashbacks with purpose not just randomly when a single battle is mentioned but when it needs to, to progress the story in the right direction :Sparks:
