Lord Tenji impregnated her, it was said multiple times.Oh wow. This episode was a clear 10/10, nothing held back.
The art and animation were both movie quality, the script was great and the whole thing was so refreshing it felt like watching a historical drama. Really worth applauding SP for. Anime Kaguya is already the best Kaguya.
Now, there are 2 things that I'm worried about. First one being the fact that this episode was so well made. In times when budget is low, such big budget episodes used for filler leave us with a big chance of the canon material being poor quality. This is a problem. Now, the second thing I'm worried about is the fact that, even tho we got her backstory, we still know nothing about Kaguya. Where did she come from? What is her relation to Shinju? What are her powers? Who impregnated her? This really just raises more questions, which undermines the point of these fillers.
He wasn't hesitant when it came to protect his people , he did it for peace and there was no time to talkIt was a good episode. I enjoyed seeing what the past era was like and the animation was great. It was also nice to see Kaguya show some emotion when one of her assistants died.
The only thing that bugged me was why Kaguya's captured assistant never spoke up about them being attacked and why Tenji turned against Kaguya so quickly without even asking what happened. I mean, he spends every day with her and they concieve a child but he doesn't feel obligated whatsoever to talk to her? Wtf?
