Well only a big flashback mostly, really quirky and strangely funny though. Still best part of the episode was the Ramen Outro, love that one for sure.

Amazing episode even so its filler with canon main flash back it was very interesting where it explains the bond between father and son but wat was must amazing when guy finally unleashed the last gate it was a bit strange at first art but oh well i hope that next episode will have even more better animation as well this was so badass in prewiev what it showed even sage of six paths to yay still one week break next week

I actually liked the filler part of this episode. The canon part was neat too. Animation was surprisingly good. 5/5

Filler or not, I loved the flashback overall. The canon part looked slightly off at first but at least, the one panel that I hoped would look epic turned out pretty good in the end.

The animation/art was nothing special but for an outsourced studio, it was alright.

Can't wait for the next episode though.

The preview looks average/good BUT I'll wait till we get the actual episode since I can't really judge only 30 seconds. It does look quite fast paced in some shots though.
Too bad we have to wait 2 weeks though...

I'll give this one a solid 4/5

Lol, the preview for Gai vs Madara shows that the animation will be average at best. Guess this fight isn't important enough for Kakashi vs Obito style animation.

Although I can understand why, it was a pretty linear fight, just Gai pounding Madara with punches. You don't need spectacular animation just for that.

Those shots of Dai's butt bought it up from a 1 to a 2, tbh.

I have never cringed at anime like I did this episode. Those could have been two separate episodes judging by quality. Those faces made me want to die. Disrespectful to the characters actually (Gaara was safe in that preview thank god.) Like, the flashbacks would have been a three, but that last part a one.

I don't have high hopes for next episode.

5/5 for this episode! It was amazing,I loved how Guy worked hard and achieved his goals,the ending was the best tho ;3
Next episode is gonna be the bomb since we'll see the eight gates in action and the sage of the six paths

shitty animations , is this some kind of ajoke , we wait 8 months for the return of the canon episodes and this is what they provide us , i cant draw but am sure i can do better than the last 8 minutes in the episode , they are ruining guy fight vs madara like this . its like they dont even care to read the manga well and know how important this episode is
