I didn't watched it yet, but I watched some of the scenes from it. It looks good, however I noticed it was some flashbacks.

Now that s interesting episode that previus one much better lee finally unleashed one of gates! epic but again i didnt notice hidden lotus that he used even so its very good episode

This the best episodes by far, I love this epic taijutsu fight, both Lee and Shira went HAM with that nice Animation!!!!! I think I understand how Shira block Neji Jyuuken since they did good job with explaining Shira Owl Technique which was Epic,I dunno I can';t express my fanthom to this week episode.
Why can't this series have more taijutsu, and all this ninja strategic instead going to this BS DBZ Route. -_- This why WE NEED FILLERS!!!!

Alot Better than Last weeks episode + They're finally done with that mini Shira Arc. Yay

Lol Tenten's facial expressions were hilarious.

I hope next weeks episode gets good treatment as well.

I thought Naruto vs Sora (filler fake Jinchuriki) was bad. But Lee vs Shira (filler clone of Lee with his own version of 8 gates and gentle fist) is just taking the piss to far.

It's kind of funny. Most of the comments on this page are immediately dismissing the episode as terrible just because it's a "filler". Well, I hate fillers just as much as the next Naruto Fan. Fillers are full of: awkward music, Poor fight animation, shoe-horned characters, weak story lines, contradictions to the main arc, and the list could go on and on, and on. While this episode may have some of those Filler qualities, it excels in many area's where even the main storyline dumps. The fight animation near the end was top-notch, you rarely get to see Lee let loose like he just did in Shippuuden anymore. Oh, and for the record Shira's Seven Heavenly Breaths thing or whatever, while it's a complete rip-off and kind of hoky, it's true that if the body is able to receive larger doses of oxygen it invigorates the body and simulate an amped or pumped feeling. So it was a pretty cool idea, in the end.

It was great to me. Shira fighting style was cool and I kinda understand why he created something to achieve feats like the gates. He's is self taught and no master to teach to unleash gates.

OK... THAT WAS AWESOME. The animation was so great. Back into this filler. Next week seems decent too. Seems Gaara knows Fuu is a Jinchuriki. 5/5.
