You know I'm beginning to think that this second chunin exam is going to be way more difficult than the one thta was held the first time. Excellent episode btw, turns out Shikamaru is more devious than I would have ever thought and Neji is quite clever as well.

I'm loving that we are getting more filler, that means more naruto. Watch all the complainers whine when the anime finishes . If we are getting something new , just enjoy it because its prolonging naruto's eternal end. Dont tell me about the part 3, cuz it will be nothing like part 1 and part 2 U_U

I love how the exams seem like an excuse for the proctors to just mess with the students in any way they want, lol.

Also... Filler writers sure like Danzo Secretly communicating with Hanzo, how romantic.

I'd said it before and I'll say it again. This is a dumb time for Tsunade to be having a flashback about the chunin exams that preceded Part 2's beginning. I mean we're in the middle of a war and Naruto and Sasuke are both teetering on the edge of death and Tsunade's all "I remember when...". Worst Hokage ever.

i didnt like the second part of the question about leaving a comrade behind and the answer being leave nobody. thats not realistic. tobirama did that and died. obito too.

the chibi argument between naruto and sasuke was cute. it gave me early team 7 vibes unlike how they are now since they dont speak to each other just give cool looks

This episode gave me a huge smile on my face, Neji was so cleverly smart that even Shikamaru shit his pants lol Shikamaru with his mindset truly screw everyone logic, Shikamaru established with his high set of IQ and yet Neji pulled it off! Shikamaru made it clear that the first half of this written test was to who will demonstrate leadership, and amazingly enough, Neji turn the whole tides upside down I guess that's how the so called "Genuis Prodigy" becoming Jounin all in one go!

Don't forget Sakumo Hatake refused to leave his comrades behind and look what happened to him. The villagers and even the comrades he saved berated him and drove him to suicide for not leaving them behind and completing his mission.

Meh episode all talking , and i think they are dragging it , the fighting still didnt happen and we are in the fourth episode of the chunin exams arc, and it looks next week the fight still didn't start according to the preview and the title. 8 episodes remain if this arc ends in april, i hope it doesn't go further than april! Do u think in 8 episodes it will conclude?

I am honestly disappointing, this arc so far has been underwhelming,even for filler. I didn't expect anything nearly as good as the Kakashi ANBU filler, but man even for a filler this was bad.
I had always thought that a filler about the Chunin Exams in which Sakura and the others would be much better than finding insects, or all of that Guren stuff.
The buildup in this arc is way too slow. Pacing could have been much faster, so the tension could have been built up better. The first exam was for half an hour,right? Why did it take two episodes then?
Shikamaru thought of the first exam. I expected a better riddle/puzzle for everyone. This was ridiculously easy. The little extra test at the end? I saw through it the moment Shikamaru finished the question. The first exam was ridiculously transparent.
But,I may also add that the first exam from the actual Chunin Exam arc was easier to pass than this. Oh well.
Let's see what the second exam will be like.

TBH I dont like it. The first round made no sense and was so random. Hitting the wall and shit was just dumb. I felt like they were trying to be smart like the original one but for me it didnt work.

Anyway I am excited to see the second round and the third round.
