This keeps getting better and better.
Loved the build up and the pacing, I guess the reason Sakura was out of chakra was bacause of the Byakugou seal.

I'm interested in that Ame shinobi, I wonder she/he can do.
Fuu too, and did the village chief say "He"? I thought Fuu was a girl.O_O

Great episode, had consistent artwork and animation. 5/5 for Pain and Konan.
I thought I wouldn't see Kebari senbon again.xd

Normally I don't like filler episodes but there are a few...hope this become that a few ones I likes. I really impressed by the first episode. 5/5

Well today naruto ep was nice it had some good development about sakura training etc blah blah and naruto but fuu when i readed when that guy said boy i was like what!? totaly confused i go to naruto wiki and i readed that its she not he << phew that scared me a bit

So this episode made it somewhat obvious that Konan will be the one to infiltrate the Chuunin exams. I forgot how it was mentioned her transformation jutsu was good enough to fool the Sharingan. So even if Kakashi had his eye out, he would not have noticed that it was a fake Hanzo.

Considering that the episode is titled "the chunin exams begin!", I was expecting them to actually, y'know, start in this episode. Build up's slow but if handled right this could pay off so I'm not complaining too much about that.

Fuu's adorable and I definitely want to see more of her.

Ino and Sakura interacting made the episode for me. I know pretty much everyone figured that she'd be Shikamaru's replacement when they all became chunin, but I'm really glad that we're actually going to see that now. InoSakuChou is going to be an interesting trio. It was nice to see a bit of Tsunade bonding with Sakura, too.

With things actually starting up next episode, it looks like it'll be a fun episode to watch.

5/5. I thought there was gonna be another plot hole and Hanzo was going to be alive. Seems like next episode is going to be the writing test exam.

A fan fact for those who don't remember it but Shibuki is a filler character as well who had been shown in the past twice, once in an ova, another at naruto, not shippuden, episode 198. Great episode

Omfg!!! That Ova was awesome, I remember how much I love that guy, and now he's a leader. Wow, I love how SP decided to implement that waterfall guy from the ova and connect these timeline event to make it seem more canon =D

I agree, it's a quite interesting idea if you also take into consideration that this actually gives more depth to his character and proves that SP is capable of creating good filler characters with a complete story and not just for one use.
