Yes, though there may be a little filler in between the canons, but primarily canon as a whole

I'm sure they will. They'll probably prolong it somehow, I'm interested in all of Hashirama's flashback to get animated btw. And when you mention burn, are you referring the the panel of when Kurama recalled Hashirama saying his power is too great? I think Kishi reconsidered the fight after that chapter. It seemed like that statement was said directly after the fight but we didn't see Madara do damage to that extent. That said, I don't think Hashirama's left side was burned.

it was either burned or damaged. It was right after Hashirama came towards madara when susanoo was removed from kyuubi, and we got a timeskip and both Hashirama and madara was damaged...
