Minato's team didn't exactly 'fail'. If Obito had survived,i believe it would have been a brilliant team.
Depends how you see it, if Kakashi would have gone with Obito in the first place instead of continuing the mission, everybody could be still alive. Which in my book still counts as at least minor failure.
Especially if Minato knew all along about Kakashi's attitude and even let him be promoted to Jonin despite his worries over said behavior.

minato's team, hiruzen's team so many good moments and they made a good impact to the end of the best filler

^The wood dragon will appear in the beginning (just like in the manga) and then it's the flashbacks/fight.

The juubi will probably appear in the end (5 pages from 607, entire 608-609). 2 chapters per episode.
and then 363 will cover 3 (610-612) because the alliance will arrive.

This episode was done better than I expected, I thought we're going to see a repetitive flashback of team 7 but the animator done better job with utilizing Kakashi perspective even though We've seen Obito flashback and Kakashi stabbing Rin multiple times which is annoying as hell.

Overall I give a total rating of 4/5 especially with that ending when Kakashi finally able to move on when his past event of his old team pushes Kakashi which finally gave to him the opportunity to follow and pass on to the next generation. That part was the best of all, it really gave me some good feeling with this episode.

This filler arc is by far one of the best if not the greatest fillers of all Naruto.

Wait, the 3rd said that he paired Sasuke with Naruto so that SASUKE could control the Nine Tails... Is it just me or is that a little sketchy? I mean this is the Fourth's son.

ALSO look at that parallel between Jiraya/Naruto and Tsunade/Sakura!!! Their dynamics are so similar on the three-man team.

Great way to wrap up this arc. I don't care whether it's filler or canon. I have re watched the Team 7 episode in the original series a few times, but the significance of them passing Kakashi's test never hit me until I watched this episode. Without understanding Kakashi's past, his absolute insistence on teamwork makes him seem uncaring and rigid. But you can see he is genuinely happy they pass in this and the original episode. And those hands of his past teammates pushing him forward. Gah. Lots of misty eyes for sure.
