The anime made a nice choice. I agree there are a lot of awesome fan made openings out there. However, after watching them 5+ times, they become lame. The anime opening is good for a long term basis. Currently, I am tired of the ending which I found better than the opening when it came out while the opening is still good.

Obito got alot of spare Sharingan. Notice how someone told Danzo that the body count didn't match up, that's because Obito took them (probably to the Kamui dimension) to take their eyes.

Ah, so this is how Root/Foundation was disbanded. Hiruzen was just like, it's disbanded, and Danzo was like, grumpy face.

Glad to see that clear up the theory about Itachi being the captain of the whole anbu. These fillers comfirm what teh manga says, Itachi was just a captain like Kakashi.

It'll be funny how many of academy student Kakashi will take care andmake fail.

So they extended the Itachi/"Madara" scenes. Great decision.
I wonder when (or why) Obito started to put on a mask and leave the spiral-zetsu armor. Kishi never fully explained it in the manga. But anyway, great episode. The direction was good and the atmosphere was tense.

Now this explains how he escaped Sasuke's amaterasu immediately after Itachi's death. He used izanagi!!!

Loved the episode 5/5. It was pretty interesting how that Anbu person told Danzou how the body count didn't match up. But what i dont get is how Danzou got all the sharingan on his arm. If he took the eyes from the dead uchiha wouldn't their eyes be de-activated from sharingan? I was also hoping to see more uchiha massacre action but oh well

I found the whole changing the lighting in the Uchiha district kinda weird.
I hate Danzo.I cannot reiterate how much I hate that guy.
I did love how boss Itachi was at the end though,threatening Danzo with his Mangekyou and all.

That aside, the animation quality was great, but for some peculiar reason, it fell short in some scenes, which created some inconsistencies; despite this, I loved this episode. Itachi, the character, just knows how to make the audience overlook any animated errors. Like OMG! His presence solely is, put simply, extraordinarily breathtaking.

I really hope more Itachi fillers are on their way. I would like to see how Itachi discovered his invincible Totsuka Blade and Yata Mirror. The weapons that make him the Solo King of the Naruto verse.

The blue lighting effects were distracting.

My favorite part of the episode had to be Kakashi's reaction to Hiruzen suddenly appointing him to being a jounin leader.
