It's not so bad on this thread, but you all are missing some important parts of the episode. Here's what I posted elsewhere.
"I'm really disappointed in the shallowness of the fans these days. In fact, I was so disappointed that I made an account specifically to reply to this thread. Did anyone catch the beautiful parallelism that was shown when Obito flashed for a second to Rin's death when Yahiko flung himself onto Nagato's knife? That not only brings together a cycle of sacrifice (that further validates Obito/Nagato's twisted nihilistic view of reality) but it also implies that Rin was responsible for her own death, and that Kakashi was hesitant to do it. A bit of history repeating itself before his very eyes. Not to mention the words that ended the episode with Yahiko continuing his role as leader of Akatsuki. That right there brought together a new depth to everything Akatsuki had done since episode 1. The twisted and distorted dream that Akatsuki became after Yahiko's death is reflected in his new image and aloofness that came when his body was controlled by Nagato. It really helps to make Nagato's character more sympathetic. Not to mention Obito's awesomely cold and controlled massacre of the "clean" Akatsuki members. This could also be a character development that contrasts the passionate rage he carried out 3 episodes ago. His feelings have dimmed, though that doesn't make him any less dangerous and effective. Not to mention that he's wiping out any part of Akatsuki that might not buy into its new philosophy. This filler, not gonna lie, is some of the most well developed and symbolic content the series has shown so far. And you all are complaining "Lame. Moar fillur. Get 2 de akshun. 0/5" No wonder these authors get fed up trying to please the fans..."
