superb job on this episode the animation was great as well and they handled sasuke and itachis reunion pretty well

Truly awesome one they delivered today. Sasuke even looked much much closer to his actual age too come to think of it. And the Susano'o arms clashing was nice, finally able to see them both colored in the same picture.

5/5, the animation was superb, as expected from Masaya Onishi. Loved the episode from the beginning to the end. Madara and the Gokage scenes were epic; Itachi and Sasuke was touching and Onoki's past with Madara.

Onoki YOU LEGEND! And Tsunade too! My respect for them has grown tenfold after watching the latest episode (even though I knew what was already coming, the anime team did a wonderful job at portraying the emotional aspect of the two chapters that were covered in this episode).
The Gokage vs Madara fight was awesome and I loved every bit of it, especially the part when Onoki regained his consciousness after a rock fell. He turned his fighting spirit into strength and saved the other Kages from Madara's despair by obliterating the overlying wood into dust with his Jinton. I just love the way that scene was brought up with the flashbacks of Onoki's past. The motivational speech the first Tsuchikage gave to him was great and I can't believe I found a conservation about the will of stone to be very intriguing. Then, at the end, we got to hear the very same thing! But this time, it was Tsunade talking about the will of fire and I also found her speech inspirational and very admiring. I actually laughed; seeing her telling off Madara was quite funny
However, we must not forget the meeting of the two Uchiha brothers. It was cute seeing Itachi and Sasuke talking to each other about their past, present and what holds for them in the future. I'm glad the animators didn't overuse the flashbacks that we have seen so many times. I seriously cannot wait for their tag-team battle against Kabuto. Looking forward to that for sure.

What? 5/5 .... This chapter was nothing special
if anything a 2/5 for being original.
Im tired of looking at madara talk. His jutsus are nothing special to be honest.
(Maybe cause I seen them too many times in the manga)

It was an awesome episode on the animation part and following the manga to some extent.

Lack of innovative scenes.
They just started the episode with a Golem? There wasn't any pause/slow motion thing to make the air thick around the viewers. Dammit this is a FUKIN war between the Leaders of Both sides. Atleast make it interesting to give us a goosebump.
The flashback scene of Ohnoki. I was laughing when Muu and Ohnoki were just thrown out like a garbage. And then Ohnoki stood but Muu didn't. Muu was thrown like a raaaapeeedd Teddy bear ( @ 7:01 )

I waited for that one moment when Sasuke's susano'o hand approached to grab Itachi and Itachi just replies ignorantly with his Susano'o arm. But animators made one mistake. When Itachi's Susano'o arm blocks Sasuke's, the hand just crushes a tree into two. That part wasn't shown in the episode. It could be epic if that scene would have added into it.

Liked it, especially the animation not being bad. However, they're catching up pretty quickly to the manga. That might lead to trouble, especially since there's another break scheduled for the manga writers this year.

I truly enjoyed this episode. I actually thought that this episode was only going to only cover one chapter, but now it's going to cover two! I can't wait to watch it again, and I can't wait until the next episode.

Ive freakin waited for this episode from the moment i read this chapter in the manga , Ohnoki sooo AWESOME i love his super rare 3 element particle style love love love it .. defintiely my top 2 ninjutsu in naruto, this and pains omega push , if i was a shinbo and i had those 2 abilites ide rock with a 7 gates release lol
