overall, a good episode. Sasuke made this episode but it does have more flaws than strengths
bad
Konohamaru: Seriously, why? I'd prefer flashbacks to that. You give me Sasuke then bam! here's some Konohamaru. His presence was completely unnecessary and illogical in-universe. Why do you have genin patrolling? I mean if anything happens, genin will not be able to handle it. And my god, get another voice actor for this kid? Unlike with Naruto, I knew he's being voiced by a woman, and it's distracting. Then more genin so up but they don't have headbands. too bad Konohamaru isn't planing a coup with some genin missing nin. Then again he seems to be on a first-name basis with Sasuke.
Then it gets better because you have Karin. Sasuke stabbed you. hate him. don't do whatever you were doing to that hand-drawn picture. Seriously, you drew a picture of him.
flashbacks: I hadn't forgotten about everything, Suigetsu. Perhaps, 4 minutes of flashbacks would have been cool but not that much.
missing character development: The greatest shame in these flashbacks is they didn't add character development. Suigetsu condemned Sasuke for leaving them behind. it would have been good development for him to at least want to have nothing to do with Sasuke. Juugo (who will always be loyal to Sasuke) and Suigetsu could have had an argument where Juugo convinces Suigetsu to come find Sasuke. imagine how intense it could have been. Juugo gets mad at Suigetsu for not forgiving Sasuke and attacks. Suigetsu finds the scroll. Then's there's doubt in the audience's mind as to what will Suigetsu do. Suigetsu flashbacks to pre-Five Kage Summit Sasuke and decided to help. excellent development but nooooo. he just has one line that goes no where. Right when he picked up the scroll. there was no hesistation. he jsut decided to give it to Sasuke.
Finally, there's that ending song, it really hurt the episode here. Sasuke's being evil then that annoyingly happy ending song
edit; just watched the teaser, so you tease me with Sasuke but just tease thanks to all the wasted time with the flashbacks. Now, we go the Five Kage. That'll be an interesting fight, but you just teased me with Sasuke and then now for something completely different. so annoying

all of Sasuke scenes. Sasuke is an epic evil badass
His flashbacks were well placed. Especially going back to his promise to Naruto.
the Zetsu running away only to be shoot down was awesome because it showed Sasuke's brutality
even suigetsu's flashbacks were preferable to more Konohamaru
Suigetsu and Juugo's scenes were excellent. I like their friendship. the anime could have done more, as I previously argued but it was still good
Well I was expecting to see Itachi since name of episode has 'eyes' in it...
