Exactly this, because of Hinata's speech and the ending. Anyway, the animation wasn't that bad also.

Glad its finally night/raining too, don't know if it was just me but the whole dust and smoke shit they had throughout the last few eps was annoying

Just finished. The animation was great, especially during the canon parts. Also, the darker, rainy weather looks a whole lot better than the bright, sunny atmosphere before.

The animators have definitely stepped their game up, although I do wish they included more canon, but that was the only negative about this episode.

On a side note, watch the preview for next week. It gives away the Hokages being resurrected from the scroll. (Scroll has RDS mask on it)

In the manga we never actually saw the contents of the scroll until the resurrection

Damn, i can't stand it when they go past every damn character to display their useless thoughts. It happens way too often and it's a poor way to fill an episode. This one was mediocre at best.

I liked this episode. I actually didn't mind the filler considering its building on specific characters that have huge plot point later - referring to Neji and everyone at HQ. Sure it wasn't as exciting as last week but it was still nice to see everyone again. I liked how the sasuke scene was done with the footprints, very nice.

Also that song at the start XD

I loved the cannon parts mostly. The alliance talking is positive upbuilding, esp, Hinata.
Also Obito and Naruto discussion, its funny.
I loved the tailed beast song..made me laugh.... :snick:

Dislikes:
Hated the slow pace: eg. showing of the footpaths...wth... :nuts:
The filler part was a little annoying thou, but was Ok.... XD
And just showing Sasuke face without anything....

In all 4/5....Lets hope next week is a lil epic....
