they did do some crap animation on one scene with the kumo fodder with the wind sword right as he comes up they look flat and paper like the face on the ninja was very bad xD but enough nitpicking was awesome loved the music right before madara charged them

Now this was an episode and the animation was up to par. I seriously had doubts b/c this war arc has been so hit or miss. Whoever was director for this needs to do the remainder of the cannon material for the war. Please let this guy be doing the Madara vs the Gokage fight.

When Madara rip the paper bomb off the kunai and stuck it onto the other guy then threw the kunai at another guy and then kicked the guy he stuck the paper bomb on.


F U C K I N G EPIC!!!!!! That Fire Jutsu scene was epic.


Man.. Naruto's popularity would go through the roof if they kept this animation up.

One of the best scenes in the episode, I literally had to watch that over b/c I was like wtf? Why didn't Kishi pull something like that in the manga with Madara. He left so much open ended when he took on all those fodder, it would have been epic to see more detail on print. Totally fits his character. You're right shame the animation has been hit or miss, because it would have sustained the gains they were seeing a long while back.

Epic episode. Good flow and balance of animation; from the attention detail, to the CG, to the filler animation during the battle, it all seemed to flow seemlessly.

Finally. (ironic that this weeks Manga was entitled 'Finally' - i think they may have been referring to the return of the Cannon in the anime. And what a return. Did the manga justice. Loved it.

This episode just has one work EPIC so ****ing awesome we see the strengh of the legendary Madara Uchiha Kicking some ass and showing why he is a boss I give it a 5/5 and it really deserves it

Awesome...simply awesome.

The extended fight: epic.

The animation: epic.

The despair: epic.

And so much more. When that one leaf shinobi walked towards the stone shinobi holding up a wall after impact and then fell on his knees as the stone shinobi fell down dead. That was just amazingly done.

Oh, and people. Don't expect this kind of animation too often, this is not standard animation. So it's not like studio pierrot is 'back on track'. To me personally the standard animation isn't even that bad. This is what they do, give epic eps epic animation. They can't keep up this animation for the remainder of the war up until where the manga is now, there will probably be a few more with great animation like this but not all episodes.

That being said, I'll just go rewatch the episode again =D.
