As far as fillers go this one was pretty good. The animation was great and the action was even better. I did not like how they state that Orochimaru is the one who made the 8-tails beserk because now anime fans are going to claim this a fact. When in reality there is no reason for it berserking. But yeah that was my only beef with this episode and Kishi when the hell will you just continue with the story line in the manga?

+ The animation wasn't bad. . . hmm
+ On the beginning, when B and Motoi shake hands, was funny. =D
+ The whole thing with Orochimaru being involved with Gyūki going berserk was interesting. :yeah:

- As usual, only Anime techniques suck. . . meaning Motoi's Lightning Release: Spider Web. Zzz
- Those Tailed Beast Ball, that B and Fukai were throwing at each other, looked so weak. . . like they were not even Tailed Beast Balls. :'(
- We see Orochimaru take just a sample of Gyūki's cut out horn, but before that we saw that he had the whole thing. . . WTF. . . ? :erm:

Next episode we are going to see some puppet masters clash.

Pretty cool scenario, and I liked the individuality in Fukai's tailed beast mode. Spider web was interesting, but weak to a tailed beast.


Putting Orochimaru into the plot was great. Also, taking the scrapings and cultivating them was genius. He really likes taking women's bodies..

Only bad part was some animation points. The Zetsu were nowhere near them (one image showing them off to the side). Suddenly they are blasted, and none of them thought to leave and report.

Also with the Hachibi chase seen Fukai's randomly glitches across the screen not knowing which side to be on...and on the left side or looks like it runs on the wall.

Overall was pretty good though!

Plus, how the f**k does one cultivate something like that. . . from little cut of pieces to the whole original size. . . it's not a seed from some plant. . . hmm

I liked this filler, but the next one will be awesome! We'll find out more about Sasori's life! (although it's a filler, but I don't mind... )

-- The whole "friendship/love overcomes all" message is overdone.
-- The biju bombs were dainty. Compare/contrast the transformation of eight-tails mode to Naruto's transformation to four-tails mode. The biju bomb hurled in the fight against Orochimaru in Episode 42 of Part 2 annihilated Orochimaru's Triple Rashoumon. I doubt the biju bombs fired in this filler episode would've even scratched the paint on a single Rashoumon.
-- In filler, any time we need to blame someone for a problem in the past, who's to blame? You guessed it! Orochimaru: The villain to almost any filler where something comes back to bite you in the @$$! How original...
-- The zetsu were completely inessential to this episode. The only thing I liked about their existence was the portion where they lampshaded (

) a continuity error when they said, "That Kabuto... If he can revive something like this through reanimation... why would he bother engaging the eight tails? He could have sealed this chakra in the Gedo Statue!" They bring up a good point.... WTF, Kabuto?!
-+ The humor in Bee's failure to urinate without drenching his hand was a tad childish, but it served its purpose.
++ Orochimaru's still a boss, regardless.
++ Fukai's eight-tails mode was unique, providing a good distinction between the two when Bee and Fukai fought.
++ The Lariat bull-skull attack thingy was mildly cool to see.

I have watched every single episode of Naruto, so don't you tell me I didn't. And then, where's that "This jutsu has no weaknesses" statement that Kabuto himself said?

It was okay. I kinda lost interest, but right when I started to cut it off my interest got peaked again. Animation has gotten better since the early war arc stuff imo.

It's like how Madara was able to do so much from a little bit of Hashirama's DNA. He made hundreds of artificial bodies (zetsus), gave himself Mokuton, and made his life longer.

Edit: I'm assuming he also managed to cultivate Hashi's cells into that fake Hashirama that Yamato is connected to now

4/5. Disappointed that the previous Jinjuuriki just got sealed through the happindess bs so quickly. Nice to see that Orochimaru pulled a Tobi with the whole letting the tailed beast go on a rampage thing

It was a pretty decent episode. I enjoyed it. The only thing I annoyed myself with is the timing of the intro. Eight minutes into the episode, I mean really? It has happened before and sometimes with good reason, but this time it made no sense. Someone needs to do something about their editing skills.

One of the best fillers I've seen, so of course 5/5.

I know it's filler and it's not canon but I'll just see that thing with Fukai as canon in my mind until said otherwise in the manga.

Motoi asking Bee at the beginning why his hand was wet was pretty funny imo .

Also nice to see our dear creepy friend Orochimaru in the anime again.

I guess we'll be getting back to canon in August or something, don't really care when because it'll be epic anyway. Even more than looking forward to seeing Madara in the anime, I'm very much looking forward to the anime version of what's happening now in the manga. Lots of fighting which is always better in the anime then in the manga in my opinion due to soundtracks and animation.

But as long as they make the fillers good like this one (with along the road a more humurous one, it's unavoidable I think) I don't mind the fillers.

Oh yeah, and it's always funny to see that the first posts in these threads are always the same (link please and filler didn't watch, useless posts like that).

+ I found the backstory with Orochimaru being responsible for the Hachibi going berserk with the previous jinchuuriki interesting. :yeah:

+ I liked the little bit of personality given to the "white zetsu". Hinting the future even which will happen where they will ask Sasuke "what are you doing out here?'" then he just Amaterasu's them XD

- I'm not usually, a complainer about anime quality. But the quality in this episode was terrible!! Especially when the Fukai & Bee whilst in 8 tails chakra mode were running. Just terrible

- I don't think its necessary for another backstory on Sasori/Chiyo....
