There is never a thread to discuss the anime? Which leads to questions being asked in the discussion section because there is nowhere else to talk about it. There was a misunderstanding with this thread today which is why it was not opened by me. Guess I'll explain the story for whoever is interested.


I opened this thread today in the wrong account and asked 4 mods to delete it for me lol. After it was deleted I made the thread in this Account Hidden Shinobi and I guess at some point after that time one of the other 3 mods deleted the thread I made in the right account.


I guess next time, only ask one mod to close a thread for you lol.


This thread has been made 3 times today lol but anyway will be back to normal next week, Let's discuss in this thread.


Sorry for all the people who already posted their thoughts about the episode in the other threads that got deleted. My Fault.

And as I asked 4 mods to close the thread and this is the 3rd time the thread has been put up I hope it doesn't get deleted again. Hopefully they will see this post

Well, it kind of ruined everything we knew about Root, didn't it? First of all, aren't their identities secret? Yet everyone knew Fu and Torune. Second, "Fu" and "Torune" are supposed to be codenames. Third, Danzo made Root members kill each other to kill emotional attachment, yet Fu and Torune were "friends". The whole friendship thing was cheesy, but I felt kind of sad when Torune asked about Fu. It's for the best he never found out :/

It was pretty good for a filler. For the first time in months I didn't feel like I was wasting time watching this. But it did contradict a lot of cannon stuff. Bad storytelling on Pierrot's part.

5/5 one of the better fillers.

- I'm glad they are using canon characters.
- Torune is a badass him and Fu's short fight with Obito was awesome
- Backstory was believable but had some holes.
- Torunes giant bug death cloud thing was actually a scary threat.
- Good to see Danzo again doing whatever he wants
- The fight was pretty filler-y and boring.

Filler moments:

- So according to this episode Torune could easily wipe out Konoha and everyone in it with one jutsu
- Fu and Torune should have killed eachother.
- Torune seems like a normal happy guy (he shouldn't have emotions)
- Shino looked like a total fodder until the end
- KM Naruto dodged Raikags full speed but had to be saved from Torunes punch by Shino.

Torune didn't deserve to be forgotten

It wasn't spectacular, but it's consistent with Shino's character. I've never been too keen on the details of root, so I didn't notice the discontinuous plot holes and whatnot. It's not the best filler we've ever seen, but it was pretty good.

This is a good episode, but I was expecting more from Shino, again I don't like the idea of Naruto saving his "butt" but netherless Shino did his job.

cOme on guys, if you compare this to the shitty fillers we have gotten the few past weeks (hell, last week's counts as one of the most horrible in my book), this is a 5/5. Plotholes, but still tornue was badass af, and we got to see some consistency for shino. Good for a filler, objectively id give it a 3.5-4/5.
