I actually quite liked it. It had a feel of a classic Naruto episode albeit filler. And next weeks filler seems interesting and will show Sasori take over a nation.

+ The animation was good. :yeah:
+ Akatsuki's conversations are funny as always.
+ The Food Fight contest was kinda fun.

- Giving a B-Rank mission, which could possibly be an A-Rank or S-Rank, to one Chūnin and three Genin. . . . . . . . . sending one one ANBU doesn't change much. :erm:
- So this is the nation that Sasori conquered, too bad it won't be freaking Cannon. hmm
- On the map that was shown, they just added a country that was never there. . . :|

Looks like next episode will be much more awesome.

This episode was just a waste of my time really, 0/5. It's even shitty for being a filler, and that's saying something. If the fillers continues even after May, I'm gonna drop the Anime for a couple of months... :devil:

Nostalgia. Part 1 of Naruto was so funny. I love the serious themes of Shippuden, but Naruto Part 1 had funny moments anf fillers. I just hated the 100+ episodes of fillers after Sasuke left. After a while it got tiring.

Lol at people saying that 20 minutes is a waste of their time. What do you guys have up your asses seriously.

Sigh...to me this episode was decent. I for one don't take everything seriously so I had some laughs. For example when Choji forgot he had to come in second. Also some nostalgia as how everyone in part 1 thought Naruto was kind of a loser. Seeing Sasori, Deidara, Hidan and Kakuzu was very good too. I'll give this episode 3/5.

Did anyone else notice Naruto mentioned he was beat-up only yesterday? Even tho this is filler-crap, isnt it impossible plotwise? Found it quite stupid and annoying

Personally, I don't mind filler episodes but this one was pretty sub-par IMO. Nostalgia factor was good but that's about it. Nothing too funny & nothing that filled in more character background.

I wasn't a fan @ all...So I can just imagine the angst of those who actually hate all fillers =D
