First episode I've watched since Sasuke vs Kages and Danzo. Is it just me or has the animation taken a huge dip in quality? I was waiting for this episode and I'm let down by the quality. Seriously hope they get it right before the whole Obito reveal.

Yh am I'm with you I re-watched that episode recently as well if only the animation could have stayed just like that for the rest and special animation for important scenes, who knows maybe its just to expensive to keep up.

****ty animation for a ****ty battle. Pain couldn't catch SM Naruto(who is weaker than KM Naruto) for 6-7 chapters of fighting, Nagato catches both Naruto and KB instantly in one move. Talk about plot holes, whats next Itachi saves both Naruto and KB in one move and seals Nagato away? Oh wait...

Bring Trollkage vs Gaara and Onoki already this bs is retarded.

Well naruto is stronger as a whole once he is able to control the kyuubi's chakra but KM isn't far farr above SM, it is in speed and versatility but sage mode still has insane strength (and also some other perks) like lifting giant objects. Overall KM is stronger I would say even with the lack of insane strength so yh I somewhat agree.

It's probably because I'm in a good mood but I didn't mind the animation that much. 4/5 for me, still saving my 5/5's for later.

That new soundtrack when Itachi broke free from edo tensei was great and then Kabuto's retarded look when he realized Itachi wasn't just some ordinary shinobi.

I feel the exact same way I don't mind if the battle against the kages animation is not great but I wanted this one to be. Imo they just need to focus on this battle, madara's arrival and his battle against the kages, sasuke and itachi vs kabuto and naruto vs tobi that whole battle.

They can take a break with all the kages **** I'm not to bothered.

If that team is animating 300-304 then that means Madaras appearance will have top notch animation.

Yes, at times he can break a little, however, generally, Kishi draws so good! And I hate when the anime ruins that. :|

It was kind of boring, and the fight scene didn't seem as beautifully put together as such classic, great fights as Jiraiya vs. Pein, Sasuke vs. Itachi, so on... 3/5, maybe 2/5 I'm not in a very good mood...

I was very disappointed in this episode. It felt like it did nothing... And the animation, it sucked. Kinda lame, since I was really looking forward to it. But like some people have said, it's harder to animate the fights, and from now on, that's pretty much all we're going to see, so they're probably going to pick their spots for the more important moments

It's not that good -_- you act like he's Von Gogh or something. I can name at least 10 others that are better imo.

I've been waiting for this a long time ! finally i got to see my favorite character nagato (hope he makes it in storm 3 character roster) , i gotta admit that the animation wasn't the best , but the fight was really good and we got some good moments.

If they reanimated the Naruto vs Pain fights and Itachi/Nagato vs Naruto and Bee fights and put them in Storm 3 I would buy it without hesitation, and this is someone who doesn't play Naruto video games.

I am really hoping that the Madara, Kabuto and Tobi fights get good animation. Them 3 fights and this fight are my favorites in the war (Probably even in or near my top 5 Naruto fights), and they have already screwed up one of them (it was still enjoyable, but no where as good as it should have been). I honestly care more about these fights having good animation then I would for another Naruto vs Sasuke battle, and that says a lot.
