The episode was good in terms of filler, there was a decent amount of action in it. I didn't like how goofy they made white zetsu look when he was disguised as a samurai it ruins his character but it was only that one scene the rest of the episode white zetsu was acting as his character should.

I'll give this episode a 4/5 which is my filler rating if this was a cannon episode it would get 3 but because it's filler and something the animators came up with themselves my standards are lower.

Next episode looks like it's gonna be lame/ok I don't understand what the village is protect themselves from but I guess building up on all areas of the war is good even if it's the home front.

Kishi doesn't doesn't create the fillers which is why we call them fillers the animators do. And compared to last weeks episode and the preview for next week this episode was pretty good imo

I'm glad the fillers are a part of the war rather than being some stupid childhood memories or other thiings nobody cares about... I'd love to see more of these side characters... it's a treat!

Also, Kurotsuchi's Sasuke's still had Kurotsuchi's hair wonder how Deidara missed that?

Deidara was my favorite Akatsuki member It's nice to see him out and about. Personally I believe that the fillers allow for some more development of more 3rd party characters and allow the story to unfold more whereas sometimes the manga is a bit rushed and to the point.
