A big thanks to D3A who hosted the last two Naruto Anime Discussion threads for me while I was away. He will also be hosting the next two Naruto Anime Discussion threads for me.
===============================================================================
There is never a thread to discuss the anime? Which leads to questions being asked in the discussion section because there is nowhere else to talk about it. As the anime is going to get more intense from here on out because of the war I am going to be making discussion threads for the anime every week (probably not fillers).

There are a lot of epic battles that are about to take place in the war and as this is the anime section we need somewhere to discuss about it!

Please also state any mistakes the anime might have made to clear up any misconceptions quickly.

It was good, but I was kind of disappointed with the fight scenes, they could've been muchbetter.

Way too much talking. Couldn't they speed it up or add more battle? Seriously, the war is going to be as crappy as in the manga. They don't even add a single bit of new content.

I liked it. Yer there could have been more fighting but the story line was still good. The scenes between Hanzo and Mifune were great, they at a lot of depth to characters we knew relatively nothing about. Also we got to see a bit of Kimimaro and Chiyo which was nice.

Anyway does anyone think its weird that Kankuro the guy that uses poison, and apparently has immunity to poisons always gets poisoned.

I admit it was a low-quality when it came to fighting scenes but, to me, it was an amazing episode. Too see that further into both characters and understand better their actions and where they come from.
I love those types of episodes. It was proven once again that we shouldn't look at the effect, we should look at the cause. What caused that man to act in such a way.
My respect for Hanzo has considerably risen.
I liked him before, when he was known as Hanzo of the Salamander, the bad guy. I don't know he had that type of personality which imposed respect, but now I do it even more.

Overall, for me, great episode!

I loved this episode! definitely one of my favorites from the war so far. why you may ask? well personally ever since ive known about Hanzo of the Salamander from the manga ive always wanted to know ONE thing. Who could have killed such a strong person?
At the time not even the 3 legendary sannin could beat him. Well i was a bit surprised that the writers decided to put who killed him. Wasn't at all what i was expecting but I'm happy he died that way and that they actually personified him as a character. Many people here I see are kind of mad because of crap animation and 1 min fight scene. But its the lesson that counts here.
You guys have been watching and reading the manga and anime for years. Shouldn't you be used to this? And at least its not as bad a a DBZ episode where it would take 3 years for this fight to end haha.
+rep to anyone who liked this episode above me, you guys know what this anime is about!

Overall. I skipped 10mins of it. didnt really care for all the sobby ass talk. Ummm
The animations was the same. whoever says otherwise can sTfu. umm. Overall. I liked it. It showed how Hanzo was no different then anybody else who wanted to change the world and got screwed over. when he gave mifune the antidote that was deep. the words he said,. sick man

I liked the background of it all and the ending, but way too much talking. I feel like Kimimaro and Chiyo had more fighting time then Hanzo and Mifune. They didn't even take the 10 seconds to explain he was a master of Iaido, instead of just simply a master swordsman.

More like that GOOD.

In Naruto it took already more than 3 years for flashbacks to end and they're still here. We're still getting fillers about the same thing (Team 7 vs Kakashi, Sasuke leaving the village etc.)

4.5/5 to me (cheating? xD)

Only real problem I have with it was that they seemed sketchy with scenes like Mifune blocking that one attack. The rest was awesome. Hanzo proved that conviction could survive after death (in this case, he was actually brought back from death and later followed up his conviction).

I agree this weeks episode was great. I may just be overexcited about it because last weeks was filler though. I mean, I'm by no means a sakura hater but the last episode i wanted to see in the middle of the war arc was a filler episode called road to sakura.

Seriously i didn't even sit through the whole episode. It's like the only shippuden anime episode i haven't watched all the way through.
