Yeah I can kind of see him using earth style, either way I want him to be able to master a element. Wind or Earth-either one- suits him. He must power up.

now for the real answer

shikamaru,

some fire-power. preferably elemental attacks. doton or katon would suit him pretty well. he could use doton to change the land and create shadows for his techniques. and he can use katon and set aflame his territory so that he can have a ton of shadows.

a weapon. he made excellent use of asuma's blades. and he should improve his skills with that as well. but as a weapon I was thinking something more unique. something that's in sync with his shadows. for example a weapon that allows him to shoot "shadow bullets"

and some improvising on his shadows. think how awesome would it be if he could sharpen his shadows and use them as swords. he would have countless swords attacking the enemy from every direction. and the best part is shikamaru will be at a safe distance. the best "kenjutsu" style ever.


with those shikamaru would be kage-level

Damn! That would be crazy if Shikamaru got those types of power-ups! He would go beast mode on people!!! I especially like your idea for the shadow bullets. That actually sounds like it would be a possible upgrade for him! I can see that happening, Shikamaru just like "okay you know what? I'm tired of trying to get my shadow to stretch out and reach you, I'm gonna take small amounts of chakra and shoot pieces of my shadow at you!" That would be awesome!

Yea either of those elements at this time would work for him.

IMO what she needs is a chakra boost to put her at 3.5 along with one of the sacred weapons or whatever it's called. The fan thing that the gold and silver brothers were using in the manga. I think she used it pretty well. . .not that I saw much. . .

All of konoha 11 needs a power up(excluding Naruto)
Neji/Hinata - more long range type attacks and possibly a way to remove the blind spot
Lee - if he could use chakra for just shunshin jutsu, then he would be so fast.
Shino - better taijutsu skills
Shikamaru - just more destructive/powerful jutsus in general
Sai - he's very well balanced, so a bit more skill in all areas would make him better
Kiba - more long range type jutsus
Sakura - maybe a few long range jutsu
Tenten - more justu than just sealing and weapons
Ino - anything more than what she has right now. All of her jutsu are pretty much collaborative
Chouji - needs to be much faster.
