Chapter 11: Leaves Falling
As zombie Kakashi is called away and the other Otogakure shinobi retreat, the village of Konoha becomes calmed of their tragedy of attack, but they face anxiety remains over the true meaning of this endeavor. At the main gates of Konoha, the two standing guards hear the foot steps of shinobi running towards the village.
“Hey!” A voice says, running towards the gates. Choji, Lee, and Tenten arrive at the gates, frantically, noticing the damage to the village. “What's going on, we received a distress signal and were told to return to the village immediately.” Choji says.
“The village was attacked, we suspect it was the doing of Kabuto Yakushi.” One of the guards says.
“Kabuto?” Lee says questionably. “I thought he was in hiding, what makes you think it was him?”
“Well,” the other guards says hesitantly. “Whoever attacked, possessed the Resurrection technique of Nidaime Hokage. They summoned two shinobi to attack the village.” He says, holding back some of the truth.
“And two shinobi did all this?” Tenten says amazed. “Who could they have summoned to cause this much damage?”
The two guards look at each other and then look down to the ground. “Kakashi Hatake and Might Guy.” One of them says darkly.
Lee and Tenten reacted with shock, while Choji simply squinted his eyes in seriousness. He turns his head and looks at Lee and Tenten and feels sorrow for them, understanding the pain they must feel.
“Where is Naruto-kun and the others?” Choji asks.
“Naruto-sama is at the hospital....Shikamaru-sama was injured badly, facing Kakashi.” The other guards says. Choji clinches his fist but keeps his cool. He takes a deep breath and then nods to two guards.
“Lee, Tenten, lets go.” Choji says. Both of them look up and nod and they follow Choji to the hospital.
When the three shinobi arrive to the hospital, the situation seems much calmer at that state. All the critically injured have been taken care of, the nurses and medical trainees handle the less seriously wounded, and only few casualties were sustained throughout the village. Choji walks over to the front desk, his tall stature shadows over the nurse sitting down.
“Where's Shikamaru?” He asks politely but with obvious worry in his tone.
“Choji!” Ino yells from across the hall way, outside the doors of the ER. Choji and the others head down the hall and they enter the waiting room just outside the operating room. In there, Naruto, Konohamaru, Neji, and Kiba all stand outside the operating room.
“What happened?!” Lee asks worryingly.
“Shikamaru-nii was hit with one of Kakashi-sensei's Raikiri attacks...The wound went deep just barley missing his heart, but the electricity from the attack was close enough to send significant voltage to his heart...Sakura-nee is still just trying to stop all the bleeding.” Konohamaru says softly and with a sense of guilt. “It's my fault, I was supposed to cover him, I should have figured Kakashi-sensei would've used a clone.”
“Konohamaru, don't blame yourself.” Tenten says gently.
“Ino, why aren't you there helping Sakura?” Kiba asks rather coldly.
“I...I just regained my consciousness not too long ago. I overexerted my chakra trying to help Sakura with the other patients before Shikamaru was brought in. When I saw Naruto holding Shikamaru I went to help but I...” Ino begins to tear up.
“*tsk* damn it.” Kiba says.
“Leave her alone Kiba!” Tenten says, while Choji goes to console her. “None of this is her fault we don't need to go placing blame on any--”
Just then Naruto bangs his fist on the wall, getting the attention of his other colleagues. “I'm going to kill that bastard.” Naruto says under his breath. He begins walking out of the room.
“Naruto, where are you going?” Lee asks.
Naruto turns his head with sever anger in his eyes. “I'm going to kill the bastard Kabuto for what he's done to Shikamaru and our village!” Naruto yells.
“Naruto, you can't leave the village. You're the Hokage, your responsibilities are here, in the village.” Neji says.
“But Kabuto is--”
“As Hokage you are needed here to protect the village in this vulnerable time of ours. If you left, that would just leave us open to another attack, whether it be from Kabuto or from another village.”
“That won't happen!” Naruto says, as he makes three seals, ending with the shadow clone seal. “Fukyuu Kage Bushin--”

“Naruto, calm down and regain your head.” Choji says, extending his arm out to Naruto to stop him.
“Let go of me Choji.” Naruto demands.
“Naruto-kun.” A voice says in front of him. Naruto turns and sees Hinata walking into the room.
“Hinata-chan, what are you doing out here, you need to rest.” Naruto says.
Hinata walks to Naruto and places her hand on his chest and gets in close to him. “Please calm down.” She says gently, as she funnels her chakra into Naruto, causing him to go shaky in the legs and he falls down.
“Hinata, what did you do? I can't move my legs.” Naruto says.
“Forgive me, it's just you're not thinking clearly now.” Hinata says with a soothing tone. “We're all upset about what happened to Shikamaru and this entire situation is stressful enough as it is. This village depends on you for guidance in these times of need. We don't need the wrong message being sent if our Hokage is running off away from the village irrationally do we?” Hinata says. She kneels down to look Naruto in the eyes, “It wouldn't be a good example for our children either.”
As Hinata gets up Naruto's face saddens with the realization that Hinata was right but also that he's helpless in this situation. Naruto begins to regain feeling in his legs and he stands up.
“Sorry guys. I'm cool now.” Naruto says.
“Where's Shino?” Tenten asks.
“When Shino figured out the enemy had gotten by our defenses, Shino's pride had him go out looking for them. I let him borrow Akamaru for the time being.” Kiba says.
“So what are we going to do now?” Lee asks. The room goes silent for a moment and the attention turns to Naruto.
“We're going to attack this thing head on.” Naruto says determined. “We'll let Sakura and the other medics deal with Shikamaru. We're going to have to figure out the best way to deal Kabuto and finding Sasuke.”
At that moment the others within the room, with the exception of Konohamaru react in surprise when they hear the last part of Naruto's statement.
“Hey! What do you mean 'finding Sasuke'?” Kiba asks with a serious tone.
“That was the intent of the attack. Kakashi and Guy were only decoys to draw out my attention and focus while the hidden shinobi infiltrated the prison and somehow managed to break my seal.” Naruto says seriously. “I managed to seal Bushy-brow-sensei but in that state he was significantly stronger then he was when he was alive. The same goes for Kakashi-sensei.”
“Neither of them were going at their max in that form though.” Konohamaru says. “Kakashi-sensei never used more then his Raikiri and a shadow clone. With his versatility, he should have been able to do much more. It's apparent that they weren't trying to kill us or Naruto.”
“Then explain what happened to Shikamaru?!” Kiba asks angrily.
“Forget about that right now, we know what they were after, and they got it. Sasuke is gone and he's with Kabuto, this has to stay a secret. If the other nations found out about this, no way are they going to allow Sasuke to remain alive, even if we do manage to re-capture him. We have to get him back fast before anybody figures this out.” Naruto says urgently.
At that moment Sakura enters the scene from the operating room, her face filled a look of sadness. Her look only enhances the already darkened feelings of the rest of the group.
“Sakura-chan, how is he doing?” Choji asks with intense worry.
“He's alive, that's about the only good thing about it. He's in a coma and his chakra levels are failing him. I have medics on him 24/7 fueling him with chakra, and keeping his wound at bay, but aside from the lack of resources we have to spare on him, his chakra isn't replenishing at a good ratio at which it's depleting.” Sakura says sadly.
“So that means...” Naruto says stupidly, though pretending to understand.
“It means more chakra is leaving him then coming back into him. The medics we have on him right now are giving him chakra and keeping his wound at bay, his wound isn't the only problem. The amount electricity he took completely shut down several of his chakra points on his network so the flow through his body has slowed because his chakra needs to find alternate routes to make a sufficient flow. The wound he sustained made slight impact with his heart, and caused a lot of tissue and nerve damage. As steady as my hand may be, I barely managed to mend a fraction of the damage sustained to him...in all honesty, even Tsunade-sama would have a hard time dealing with this type of injury. It was hit in that position for a reason.” Sakura explains.
“That reason was to keep Konoha's right hand man out of commission while Kabuto moves about freely. It' s psychological as well, Kabuto spent time with us during our youth, gathering information on us. He knows how close all of us are, and how rattled we'd get if one of us were hurt. He's taken out Shikamaru to mess with our tactics, and our minds.” Neji says.
“Damn you Kabuto.”
“It makes sense actually.” Shino says, entering the scene with Akamaru. “It's only natural that Kabuto should feel threatened by the intellect of a shinobi like Shikamaru, and an overwhelmingly powerful Kage like Naruto. Not to mention that the rest of us have made a pretty big name for ourselves which promotes even more fear within Kabuto. But with fear, the best way to combat it is to attack it head on. Kabuto needs to cause as much damage to the central powers before he can strike. He has started with us, but there's still the matter of the Five Kage, and the select few persons within the nations that could assist in hampering his plans.”
“Shino, what did you find out?” Naruto asks.
“*Nobody cares about what I just said* I managed to find and follow the shinobi that attacked the village for a brief while, however, I couldn't get close enough to gather much information other then an assumption of their next target.”
“Well where do you think they're going?” Kiba asks.
“Not here, We need to get back to the mansion to discuss the rest, this is no place for tense conversation.” Shino says.
~Inside the Land of Wind~
Sasuke and the two Otogakure shinobi make it safely through the Land of Rivers and into the Land of Wind. The demonic shinobi overhead lands as the party settles down miles outside of the village of Suna. “What business do we have here?” Sasuke asks.
“Nothing really, just some...insurance is all.” The leading shinobi says.
“I find it pitiful how Kabuto is so worried about Konoha, he goes after its allies, or maybe he's just that weak he needs to make absolutely sure--” Before Sasuke could finish his sentence, the demonic shinobi appears in front of him, with his arm turned into a sharp blade and he swings his arm towards Sasuke. Sasuke leaps back away from the attack however the shinobi appears behind him, with amazing speed, comparable to his own.
“Don't you speak ill of Kabuto-sama!” The shinobi yells. Sasuke turns his head and looks with shock to see the shinobi behind him. Sasuke isn't fast enough to react and the shinobi stabs right through Sasuke's chest. The shinobi smile but all of a sudden he gets a sharp pain in his chest and coughs up blood. “What?!” He says surprised.
“You're definitely fast, but not very bright.” Sasuke says. At that moment the shinobi realizes he has been struck with a spear of lightning right through his chest and he looks behind him to see Sasuke.
“Genjutsu...but I didn't even look into your eyes.” The shinobi says.
“I'm the exception to that rule.” Sasuke says, as he releases the shinobi. “I'm not much in the mood to fight so we'll leave the situation as it is.”
“Now, now why don't we all just calm down.” The leader says. “We just need to sit tight and wait for Kabuto-sama's signal.”
“Who are you guys anyway?” Sasuke asks.
“Oh, forgive me we forgot to introduce ourselves. I'm Shinji, this one here is Ushiro. Our comrades; Takeshi, Aki, and Juu are with Kabuto-sama inside Suna. You could call us the new Sound Five if you wish” Shinji says.
“Whatever.” Sasuke says, walking away from the two shinobi.
As the three shinobi wait, Kabuto and the other three members of the sound five stand directly outside the village entrance as they prepare to execute their stage of the mission. Kabuto signals for his shinobi to head into the village and execute their part.
He smiles and licks his lips like Orochimaru “Now...where are my little flies on the wall?”

Description: Developed by Kankuro of Sunagakure, this technique grants temporary animation to an puppet/inanimate object via transfering a portion of one's own chakra into the puppet. Similar in a way to the Shadow Clone Jutsu, the puppet acts and moves of it's own will, however it's mind and vision are linked to the user and the puppet itself has no base intelligence beyond instinctual fighting. The jutsu lasts for a period of time pending on the amount of chakra transfered into puppet. Chakra used up in this technique takes longer to replenish and extracts large amounts on base activation alone and more so as the jutsu is continued to be used in one single day. As a result the more times activated in one day the more chakra consumed and the less time the puppet remains active.

Description: This is a taijutsu technique from the style Suuxe-sensu, created by Mai Shichiyo. In this technique the user releases a full body blast of chakra from their body and it takes the shape of the user. The technique isn't an actual clone, however, the chakra takes the shape of the user, which gives the appearance of such. The jutsu has three uses: One, to distract or frighten one's opponent. Two to force one's opponent backwards as the chakra is dense enough, at its lowest chakra requriment to shatter through a tree. The third use is to make the user faster for a brief moment in time, as the release of such a great force of chakra all at once, temporarily gives one an almost weightless form, but with the same density allowing them to move faster. This jutsu takes chakra control on top of having a high level of chakra.

Description: Suuxe-sensu is the taijutsu fighting style developed by Sunagakure kunoichi Mai Shichiyo. In this style of fighting the user utilizes precice chakra control to line one's body with chakra. Derrived from Konoha's Hyuuga style, and the medical-nin fighting style of Chakra enhanced strength, the most basic of the techniques involves defensive circular movements meant to block and use an opponent's force against them. However when combined with chakra, the circular patterns become sharp and a circular block and be used as a blade. The few strikes and kicks used in this style are powerful. This style requires chakra control and large storages of chakra.
Kansai Kekkai Rasengan (Trapping Barrier Spiraling Sphere)

Description: This is another advancement of the Rasengan created by Naruto Uzumaki. In order for this technique to work, several shinobi as the radius perimeter of the jutsu is large then that of a normal Rasengan. In Naruto's case, he would summon shadow clones to assist him in preforming the jutsu. The group would then surround the intended target and entrap them in a sphere of chakra. They would then begin to rotate their chakra as if a normal Rasengan and the billions of rotating chakra blades within the jutsu would come to overshadow the target and anything within the barrier would be virtually obliterated. The primary use of this jutsu is to create an inescapable trap around several shinobi or one/few large opponents.

Description: This is a varriation of the Shadow Imitation jutsu, the funadamental jutsu of the Nara clan. The user would extend his/her shadow just like in the normal technique to one or several targets. The user can then forcefully push away or attract their targets, closer to them (via extending or retracting their shadow (s)). One could also preform both tasks simultaniously. The advantages of this jutsu is that, if an one's opponent is primarily close ranged fighter while the user is not, they can repel them and keep them in their more comfortable range. However, this jutsu requires advanced chakra control as the acts of extending and/or retracting while keeping your target attached, and you stationary is a difficult feet.

While in the air they spin at a rapid pace, which would cause the white chakra to appear as if spinning around them. The user would then let down a powerful ax kick which holds two possible outcomes. The first out come, is if the user lands on their opponent with their foot, they will slice through whatever part of the body aimed for as the feet will possess the highest form of chakra control in the source of the blade. The second outcome would be if the user strikes with their shin, they will demonstrate a devestating force and power rather then a cutting affect.

Description: This jutsu is activated via the Dragon-Rabit-Snake-Tiger seals. This is a defensive barrier technique designed to sheild several persons from large scale attacks. The four symbols insignia will appear underneath the area of defense and an invisible barrier of chakra will be set up around the targests. When impacted by chakra or weapons of any kind only the part being hit by the barrier will be shown via the chakra reacting to the blow. The strength of the barrier and how much it can take all depends on the user's chakra levels. Suprisingly enough the jutsu requires minimal chakra control, only to conjure up the seal and then once that's done the chakra is to be sent exited from the user's body and the seal will navigate the chakra to create the barrier, without the need for additional chakra control from the user. The main draw back to this jutsu is the fact that, while the barrier is up, the user cannot use their chakra to preform anymore techniques while inside the barrier, as the seal will have to be broken in order for the user to utilize their chakra without it going into the barrier.

Description: This is a combination jutsu developed by Shikamaru Nara. The user will create a shadow clone, and since the clone contains the same chakra netowrk as the user, in the case of a Nara, they have knowledge of their clan's hidden shadow jutsu. The user would then get the clone close to their opponent and have the clone gain a hold of the shinobi, long enough for the user to release the clone, but instead of disapearing in a cloud, the clone would become a shadow that engulfs one's target. That being said, the shadow clone's shadow is now a part of the target and can now be accessed by the user. The shadow surrounding the target will then extend to the origional user and give him control over the target.

Description: This technique is perhaps the strongest form of cloning jutsu to ever exist in the world. Created by Naruto Uzumaki, this technique allows for all clones created to remain on the battle field until and sustain any amount of damage without the justu being dispelled. Being taught how to manipulate/isolate only his YinYang elements by the Kurama, Naruto learned how to create a clone which exibits heavy durrability. This jutsu is unique to Naruto as it utilizes the chakra of Kurama as well. Naruto isolates his Yin chakra and the Kyuubi's Yang chakra and fuses it together to make the clone. Essencially the clone is only made up of those two elemental chakra bases and both Yin&Yang give it specific qualities. The Yang chakra gives it the physical manifestation of a clone, while the Yin chakra makes the clone unable to be destroyed, regenerating if need be. Naruto can only sustain one clone however, and the Konoha 11 have forbidden Naruto from using the jutsu as the justu's side affects are highly dangerous. Using the jutsu keeps an active link between the user and the clone's chakra meaning the longer it is used the more chakra is being sucked away from Naruto and Kurama. Similar to how Naruto's chakra mode left him vulnerable to the Kyuubi sucking away all his chakra before their cooporation. Also, after the jutsu is released the user only gains a fraction of the chakra lost back and his natural reserves are lowered, replenishing vastly slower then before. Naruto has only used the jutsu once and only half of the chakra he expended using the jutsu has returned to him...after 20 years.

Description: This is a combination jutsu developed by Shikamaru Nara. The user will create a shadow clone, and since the clone contains the same chakra netowrk as the user, in the case of a Nara, they have knowledge of their clan's hidden shadow jutsu. The user would then get the clone close to their opponent and have the clone gain a hold of the shinobi, long enough for the user to release the clone, but instead of disapearing in a cloud, the clone would become a shadow that engulfs one's target. That being said, the shadow clone's shadow is now a part of the target and can now be accessed by the user. The shadow surrounding the target will then extend to the origional user and give him control over the target.

Description: This technique is perhaps the strongest form of cloning jutsu to ever exist in the world. Created by Naruto Uzumaki, this technique allows for all clones created to remain on the battle field until and sustain any amount of damage without the justu being dispelled. Being taught how to manipulate/isolate only his YinYang elements by the Kurama, Naruto learned how to create a clone which exibits heavy durrability. This jutsu is unique to Naruto as it utilizes the chakra of Kurama as well. Naruto isolates his Yin chakra and the Kyuubi's Yang chakra and fuses it together to make the clone. Essencially the clone is only made up of those two elemental chakra bases and both Yin&Yang give it specific qualities. The Yang chakra gives it the physical manifestation of a clone, while the Yin chakra makes the clone unable to be destroyed, regenerating if need be. Naruto can only sustain one clone however, and the Konoha 11 have forbidden Naruto from using the jutsu as the justu's side affects are highly dangerous. Using the jutsu keeps an active link between the user and the clone's chakra meaning the longer it is used the more chakra is being sucked away from Naruto and Kurama. Similar to how Naruto's chakra mode left him vulnerable to the Kyuubi sucking away all his chakra before their cooporation. Also, after the jutsu is released the user only gains a fraction of the chakra lost back and his natural reserves are lowered, replenishing vastly slower then before. Naruto has only used the jutsu once and only half of the chakra he expended using the jutsu has returned to him...after 20 years.
