Chapter 8: The Return of a Parasite
Mission to Konoha Arc
Koichi, Koji, and Kankuro follow close behind Sakura and Naruto as they all approach the Hokage mansion. As they do, Ryoko is seen standing at the foot of the tower.
“Ryoko what are you doing here?” Koichi asks.
“I was walking through the town and I heard some kids speaking about two idiots fighting the Hokage. I figured it was you and I came here to find sensei, that's the reason you're not dead.” Ryoko says, watching Sakura drag Naruto up the stairs, still in the headlock. “Kankuro-sensei is that--”
“Let it go.” Kankuro cuts off as he begins walking up the stairs. The three genin follow close behind their sensei and once they all enter the main room of the tower, Sakura releases Naruto and he drops to his knees taking huge breaths of air.
Koichi looks at Naruto puzzlingly and sighs. “I still don't get how he's the Hokage...how is he supposed to be the strongest shinobi in the ninja world, even stronger then Gaara-sama...I just don't see it.”
“Weren't you paying attention to what sensei said on the way here?” Ryoko says, shaking her head. “He gave us a description and everything.”
“I thought he was joking?” Koichi says with ecstatic honesty in his voice.
“Joking?” Naruto says. He turns his head around, still on his knees and looks at Kankuro. “Say, what did you tell them about me Kankuro?”
“Oh...well I said they'd be able to recognize you when they saw you.” Kankuro says scratching his head, revealing that he's hiding something.
“Because I'm so renown right?” Naruto boasts.
“No, he said the Hokage would be the pathetic, goofy looking blond guy with whiskers.” Koichi says, laughing as he does so. “I didn't think for a moment he was serious.”
“What?!” Naruto's jaw drops.
“He's lying...I didn't say whiskers, I forgot all about those.” Kankuro says, however it doesn't help his situation out.
Naruto gets up and heads over to his desk and sits down sighing. At that moment the door opens and Shikamaru enters the room.
“Alright I'm here, what's the matter.” Shikamaru says in a lazy tone.
“I'm heading back to the hospital, keep track of him will you Shikamaru.” Sakura says as she walks out the room.
“That's you're signal to leave too.” Kankuro says to his three genin.
“Oh come on, we're already here can't we just--” Before he could finish his sentence, both Koji and Ryoko grab one of his arms and drag him out. “Hey!” They leave the room and the three shinobi are left in the room alone.
“When we got the message from Gaara, we figured that it had to be about Kabuto.” Shikamaru says to Kankuro.
“Yeah, I'm sure you've already received the report about spies in Kusagakure from their village leaders. They haven't sent out any other reports to any of the other nations as far as we know. Their village's trust is only with Konoha and Suna...out of the Great Nations that is.” Kankuro says. “Gaara is under the impression that they were hiding something from us.”
“Hiding something?” Naruto says confused.
“Yeah, it makes sense, Kabuto was left virtually powerless after the war, he's been in hiding for several years, for him to go on into a lower nation like this would imply some importance to him.” Shikamaru says.
“Wait so Kusa isn't telling us everything?! Well then we have to find out now or--”
“Calm down Naruto, it's not that simple, Kusagakure and a lot of the other lower nations were left in a lot of chaos after the war, they need an edge in something. Not to mention, it's hard for any of the lower nations to trust any of the Five Great Nations after the war. Even though the threat of the Akatsuki was heavy at the time, we basically took charge and evacuated the other nations without giving them much say and we used their territory as fighting ground.” Shikamaru explains.
“Yeah, but the thing is, Kabuto is far from being considered weak or a low priority. It's been about 20 years since the war, there's no way he hasn't been preparing something big to come back with, he still has his access to Edo Tensai and his other technique. Like you said, we used their territory for battle ground, the information radiation that loomed after the war was, or still is within those territories. If they've picked up on something that could potentially be to his benefit I think we should know about it, if not only to help protect or prevent Kabuto from getting his hands on it.” Kankuro argues.
“I agree, but we can't do that unless they're willing to share those things with us, otherwise we'll just be repeating our actions of impeding on their territory and their rights like we've done in, not just this war, but the previous ones.” Shikamaru states. “I'm sure that some of the lower nations, especially Kusa, are already at their push point. Kusa, Taki, and Ame created the Crescent Axis Alliance a few years after the war and Kumogakure was facing some serious trouble with the Land of Hot Water and Land of Frost after the war, mainly because those were the central areas that were affected.”
“So you're basically saying our hands are tied now?” Naruto says frustrated.
“For the time being, although Kusa, Ame and Takigakure are small nations, they're forces individually are the largest of the lower nations, and combine they have a fair amount military power over any of the Great Nations individually, with the exception of Iwa that is. Not to mention their sympathies with Shimogakure.” Shikamaru says scratching his head. “Damn this is such a drag.”
“Gaara was also considering informing the other Great Nations about Kusa's predicament.” Kankuro says.
“That wouldn't be such a good idea either. Although it's common knowledge that imposing ourselves would be a, more then risky move, some of the other Kage won't be as lenient as we are about being patient with the other nations, especially the new Tsuchikage.” Shikamaru says.
“That guy's an ass!” Naruto pouts. “Even Grandpa Tsuchikage wasn't that much of a hard ass when he was still around. This guy's totally different though.”
“I agree, the best thing for us to do would be to keep a close eye on Kusagakure and to keep each other informed should anything else pop up...how's the situation with your Jinchuuriki working out?” Shikamaru asks with serious curiosity.
“Gaara seems to have everything under control for the time being.” Kankuro turns and looks at Naruto who has a solemn look in his eyes. He grabs his stomach and sighs.
“I always thought...with Kurama and myself finally getting along, everything would be alright. I realize that the situation with the Jinchuuriki in other villages hasn't change much, even after the war. It's very rare that a Jinchuuriki truly bonds with their Bijuu, but that is the point of it all. That was the intention of the Sage of 6 Paths those centuries ago, to bond with Juubi and eventually maintain a mutual peace between host and bijuu. People...don't seem to understand that yet.” Naruto lectures in his solemn tone, his words of wisdom, spoken out of his normal tone, leave the room in silence.
“Naruto you fool!” A voice says. Naruto hears the voice and recognizes it as that of the nine-tails “We are the embodiments of hatred, the beings of evil bred from the very hatred of you humans. You ask for the near impossible. Not everybody possesses the same strange power you do. Even still, I can barely stand you, and being confined in this cage doesn't make me feel any less then my normal self.”
“Don't even try to act like I'm nothing to you Kurama, you and I both know we're friends.” Naruto says to the nine tails in his inner subconscious.
“Fool! I tolerate you to the point I don't feel the need to kill you.”
“Speaking of which.” Kankuro says, snapping Naruto back into reality. “How's the situation with 'him' going?”
Naruto's face becomes serious again and he looks down to the left side of his desk into an open drawer and stares at a Konoha headband with a slash through the middle.
“As good as it's going to get for now, I suppose.” Naruto says sadly.
“It would be a good idea if there were a tighter guard around him as well.” Kankuro says.
“Yeah, I think you're right, I'll get on that.” Shikamaru says. “So Kankuro, how's my daughter doing?”
“Oh crap! I thought I forgot something, I forgot to tell her that I was leaving for Konoha...she's going to be pissed at me when I get back.” Kankuro sighs.
All of a sudden a huge explosion occurs in the village, shaking the very foundation of the mansion. The cries of several villagers can be heard from down below. Naruto, Shikamaru, and Kankuro all head to the window of the mansion and they see the smoke arising from the central district and the villagers running frantically towards the Stone Faces. Several more smaller explosions happen all throughout the village within seconds of the first one.
“What the hell is going on?!”
~Outside Konoha~
Outside the confines of Konoha, four shinobi stand, all baring Otogakure headbands atop their heads. A demonic looking presence hovers over them with large wings. The figure lands and it appears to be another shinobi baring Oto headband as well.“Do it.” The leading shinobi commands one of his subordinates.
One of the shinobi steps forward and suddenly a curse seal begins to spread from the back of his neck and covers a part of his body. The shinobi bites his left thumb, drawing blood and then wipes part of it on a tattoo on his right arm. He makes a few seals. And places his hands on the ground. “Kuchiyose no Jutsu!” At that moment, three large white snakes appear in the center of Konoha.
The leader then makes four seals and claps his hands together. “Kuchiyose: Edo Tensai!” two caskets arise out of the ground and the lids fall forward, revealing two bodies...Kakashi Hatake and Might Guy.
“What...what's going one?!” Guy says.
“Oh no.” Kakashi mutters with horror, immediately realizing the situation.
“Suppress!” The leading shinobi says and almost instantly Kakashi and Guy's minds are wiped of their free will and consciousness and they are zombies to their summoner's will. The leading shinobi turns to the other four shinobi. “You know what to do.” The other shinobi all nod and three of them leave, heading away from Konoha, while the remaining shinobi (aside from the leader) heads into the village, followed closely by the zombie summons of Kakashi and Guy.
~Outside of Suna~
A hooded figure stands in the distance, gazing at the trenches leading into Suna.“It should be time now shouldn't it.” The figure says cynically, as he raises his head slightly, under his hood the piercing menacing yellow eyes of the parasite known as Kabuto Yakushi, are seen as he begins walking towards Sunagakure.

First thing you guys are probably thinking is wft about Kakashi and Guy. Yes they died in WWIV, yes I summoned them, it's my story 
Some of you may be saying that their entrance could've been hidden for until a further chapter to increase the suspence. I was considering it but I wanted this brief, sudden burst of wtf force to hit you all at this one point to attract you all more to reading the further chapters so that's why I did it this way. I know my dialouge ran a little long in places, primarily with the Shikamaru, Naruto, and Kankuro talk but it was all necessary because everything I said comes back to us at a later point in time. No scroll this issue sorry, for those of you who read/comment/rep this post I thank you
