I know it was out of the blue. I just wanted to know your opinion on why you feel it sucks. It would give me a better understanding of why you dislike it. I have no intentions of bashing you or anything. I just wanted to know. LolThis seems out of the blue, especially when I never claimed that I could do better than Kishi.
Fair enough. I actually agree with this. I would have liked it if he kept it more obvious. For starters, he simply shouldn't have put in all the pairing bait and teases and actually developed them more. It would even have been more effective if there was an interaction directly after the Pein Invasion arc. I mean... even if it was Naruto saying that he needed to sort out his own feeling first not just leave it at nothing.
Here's what Kishi did and you probably have noticed this already. If not I will tell you. He gave us a starting and ending between chapters 699 and 700. Chapter 700 was 12 years after the time line of 699. (Now I know what I am stating is obvious. But try to hear me out)There even could have been at least one chapter after the war of "pairing" interactions to smooth it over, instead it is some cheesy romance movie which Naruto - the knight in shining armour- likely goes to save Hinata - the damsel in distress-; providing that the possible spoilers:
are true. Hell, he could even have the movie to reinforce the prior interaction and fill in the gap as well.about Hinata forced to marry the antagonist or she is kidnapped or whatever; I haven't payed all too much attention to the details of the last.
I think part 3 is a great idea. Because it gives some fans some sense of hope that Naruto still has a chance of continuing. Obviously there are a lot of great anime out there. But Naruto for some was there bread and butter. So I really don't think its a bad idea if done right.I probably wouldn't do a part 3 at all, but I think if it was necessary this short... Spin off, or Side story is the right way of going about it.

Yes, but it was too over done imo. Should have eased up and come to a halt and defined pairings not keep trying to tease them pretty much until the end.Shaz130 said:Fair enough. I actually agree with this. I would have liked it if he kept it more obvious.
But than again from a pairing war point of view. It was enjoyable to have some competition. It kept things interesting for a while.
I know that, hence why I call it retcon-ing the pairings. He is cramming pretty much all of the development into the movie; some/most of which could and should have been done in the manga imo. The movie should really be tying and wrapping up the loose ends to the pairings, not completely establishing them.Shaz130 said:Here's what Kishi did and you probably have noticed this already. So in chapter 700 we got the peaceful times. A lot had changed etc. Now Kishi never told us what made any of this stuff happen. Hence why people are not happy with it. Hence why people think these pairings were a asspolls. This movie is ment to fill in the middle gap he had missed. Which is why instead of judging this movie, off what we know. We should instead watch it. Because it may uncover some other things, instead of pairings them selves.
That's the thing though, Naruto is fully complete with an epilogue, normally things do not go past the epilogue which is why I had said that I probably wouldn't continue this. However, it is the next generations story now, so as I said; I think that this is the right way going about a follow up.Shaz130 said:I think part 3 is a great idea. For what??? How is what he's doing any different than what other people have being on this thread lately?Reported .
That is in a way Kishi's style if you think about it. He first teases things than eventually reveals them. We all just got caught in a mix.Yes, but it was too over done imo. Should have eased up and come to a halt and defined pairings not keep trying to tease them pretty much until the end.

Yeah I understand where your coming from. Its just I am more of a kinda guy that does not judge things before seeing it. I want to see this movie, before I give any sort of judgement on it. Its the last Naruto movie. So I see no reason of missing out on it. Because no matter how shitty this manga was. it brought me to this place.I have no doubt that this movie will answer some questions, but it's no doubt to bring up more that will remain unanswered just like what Black Zetsu and Kaguya did. Though some things simply can't be elaborated on.
I would continue it just cause of curiosity. I am not happy with how Naruto looks. But I am still willing to give it a chance to see where it goes. Who knows? It may be good. That's the thing though, Naruto is fully complete with an epilogue, normally things do not go past the epilogue which is why I had said that I probably wouldn't continue this.
