Namco Bandai Games has a brand new Naruto 3DS game is in works – Naruto SD Powerful Shippuden! The game is based on the Naruto spin-off series, Rock Lee no Seishun Full-Power Ninden (localized as Rock Lee & His Ninja Pals).
Naruto SD Powerful Shippuden will be a fighting game set for release in Japan sometime Winter 2012. No release for North America or Europe has been announced at this time. Check out the 10 screenshots, two character arts and Naruto SD Powerful Shippuden logo below!

Since Namco Bandai is releasing this game, we do have to wonder – do they now own the exclusive rights to publish all Naruto games to Nintendo platforms? Or is this only for Naruto SD games? All previous Naruto Nintendo games have been published by Takara Tomy.
