I had mad issues as a teenager, crazy bipolar depression and I wanted to just die because I thought what's the point of life. In the end we're all just gonna die anyway, all the things we accomplish, all the knowledge we obtain, all the bonds we make, they'll all be rendered pointless because we'll disappear along with our consciousness forever and ever. **** DEATH. But honestly, after watching Naruto, it made me realize who gives a ****, just live and be the best you can be, there is meaning to life as long as you share it with people who deserve to be called a comrade, and to fight for what you believe in, your ninja way and never give up. And **** what people think, because as long as you work hard you might just end up having the most potential of all. Plus characters like Itachi say mad deep shit about individuality and reality. Honestly even if he has short comings Kishimoto is a creative genius and can be really wise sometimes it blows my mind. I've watched plenty of anime including One Piece, Fullmetal Alchemist, Neon Genesis Evangelion, DBZ, Monster, Cowboy Bebop, Hunter x Hunter. But Naruto still stands on top with its compelling characters and inspirational and incredibly interesting story. Without it I may have never gotten hope, but I can finally meet my hero at comic con.
Naruto really gets mad dark, just look at Kimmimaru's backstory, but then it shows how among the messed up shit there's light.
