The coming movie leaves a lot of speculation as to how the manga will end as we know the two are connected. We know that neither Sasuke or Naruto dies, and we know that Sasuke still seems to be somewhat free. So what will Sasuke do? What will he chose? Let's discuss just that, right now.

Sasuke comments in chapter 696 that he may have a way to immortality and thus he can become the common enemy of the world for eternity. This is his plan, to manipulate and control the world from the shadows as its enemy. But it doesn't seem like he is that in the new movie and we know that this plan starts by killing off Naruto and the Bijuu. This means that Naruto and Sasuke comes to terms with a common plan, or atleast a common idea. But what is this idea that Sasuke agrees on that doesn't involve killing the Kages or Naruto? I don't think Sasuke will give up in his dream or his ideal of what a Hokage is.

Sasuke comments that he may have the key to immortality, so what if he decides to give Naruto a chance, a chance to prove that he is able to fulfill his dream and create everlasting peace. Sasuke states that Naruto cannot hope to match him at his current level, and from the look of it that is true. However, Naruto won't give up just because of that and that is why they are one equal grounds. Naruto wants to end the fight without killing Sasuke and Sasuke wants to continue the fight until he is the common enemy of everyone in the world. Neither is willing to give up their ideals, so they fight to the death. That is why I think that Sasuke will agree to postpone his dream until Naruto's natural death.

Sasuke agrees to let Naruto live out his life-span, and while Naruto does that he will try to obtain everlasting peace. If he is however unable to do this, Sasuke will move forward with his dream and plan. This gives Naruto a direct way of "saving" Sasuke by creating peace and it also makes him able to fulfill his dream and goal.

No way. Sasuke hasn't figured out immortality. He said with the rinnegan it may be possible to find a way. In the *********** version, it sounds like sasuke was referring to his chakra being immortal like hagoromos.

Even so, your theory is more sasuke fanboying than usual.

*********** tends to be wrong, beyond that even then he states that he may have a key to immorality. (I never said he had, I said he may have figured it out.) There is only two ways Sasuke will postpone or give up on his goal, that is either if he and Naruto comes to terms or he dies. We know he doesn't die, meaning they come to terms. Now, Sasuke would never agree to something where he comes off as the one who loses the most. Meaning, there must be something for him in there and all he cares about is his ideal. Logically, the only deal he would agree to was that his plan could be finished later or something else of the same nature.

As long as Sasuke is alive, Naruto will be in trouble as of Sasuke's plan. For all we know, Sasuke may be a common enemy in the new movie, his plan may be in the working or he may be waiting. (I also have no reason to "fanboy" over this, nor is there a reason to place them up against each other in a discussion like this. In other words, I'm not the one who is fanboying here. You are the one who is needlessly hating.)
