Idk, I think Naruto could just own Sasuke because Naruto is a walking nuke.

If we can see more techniques Sasuke has then I will consider him on par with Naruto.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to belittle Sasuke at all here. PS is an incredibly powerful technique that has significant destructive potential whether its stand alone or wrapped around say a tailed beast. I'm more interested in whether people actually realise what they are saying when they state Naruto=Sasuke. Its effectively saying that they are equal based on current feats, which is effectively saying that Sasuke at full power (using Sage enhanced PS) is equal to Naruto holding back his bijuu avatar.

It just doesn't sound that equal to me....

Sasuke PS is an EMS technique. Your saying hes at full power but everyone can tell he hasnt used his full arsenal. I can easily say Naruto is at full power because he's trying hard using clones diff rasengan variants the black orbs. But clearly he hasnt. Since these kind of thread started to pop up, I have notice two things that are consistent: (1) the author of the threads always have a Sasuke touch in their reasoning, and (2) all of these thread claim equality.

To me, this is the fact that they are certain that Sasuke is not superior to Naruto. this relationship is the same that Kishi foreshadowed in the entire manga concerning Indra vs Ashura, and Madara vs Hashirama. See, until the end, the manga always shows that one of them (Indra, Madara, Sasuke) always fight to his maximum while the other (Ashura, Hashirama, Naruto) are always trying to find a negotiation. The last group never went all out until they confirm that their opponent is beyond redemption or reasoning. However, when they decide to go all out, they always beat the other group. In my opinion, the latest group has wisdom and don't think power can fix problem, but they far more powerful than the former group.

The reason we never see a thread claiming that Sasuke > Naruto is that all Sasuke fanboys know it would foolish to say that. Deep inside themselves, they know Naruto is beyond the comprehenseion of anyone who has some logic. Naruto is far above Sasuke. Here is a simple logic:

(1) Base Naruto has more chakra than base Sasuke at every stage
(2) In terms of pairing Ashura, Hashirama, Naruto are more powerful than Indra, Madara, Sasuke
(3) Naruto received half power from Hagoromo just as Sasuke

These are the area were comparison is allowed. On top of these, there are specific power that Naruto has not even used yet:

(a) Naruto has the power of nine Bijus
(b) Naruto has Uzumaki related power in him that we have seen , and hinted to be connected to six paths

From all these, I wonder how someone can say Sasuke and Naruto are equal.

while i agree with most of this, the hole in the reasoning is that there wasn't necessarily anything that said Ashura was stronger than Indra. Any translation says something along the lines that Ashura eventually matched Indra's strength. That actually says Indra was initially stronger than Ashura. The rest was just coincidence, namely because the circumstances of Naruto's base lvls were arguably due to Kurama's chakra getting mixed with his while Kushina was still pregnant with him.

there wasn't anything that said Ashura became stronger than Indra, only that Indra eventually lost the war they were fighting. It could have very well have been due to Ashura finally matching his strength and then having to contend with those ppl that joined Ashura. Because for all intents and purposes, BZ basically put it out there that Indra wasn't quite the fighter Madara was. And it's virutally been shown that Madara was able to solo an army.
