Kishimoto stated that naruto and sasuke are equal. SOme of you still doubt the CREATOR OF THE MANGA WHO HAS BEEN APPLYING INK TO THE PAPER FOR YOU TO READ FOR OVER 10 YEARS. When has Kishimoto ever gotten something wrong in the manga concerning equilibrium? Hashirama was stronger or somewhat equal to Madara right? And Indra=Ashura and so on.

Kishimoto isn't all of a sudden going to get the winner of a fight wrong. He's always granted victory to the superior fighter. SOmetimes it's not obvious who is stronger and sometimes it is.

Either way. Kishimoto isn't wrong about sasuke being equal to naruto. It's simple facts. I won't doubt kishimoto.
The recent dumb shit he's done is because he had a dead line to finish the manga for whatever reason.
