and @ 1st it didnt tickle me but then i learned its from STUDIO PIERROT omg! hair we see goldy on the left and sasky on the right and in teh middle! burto! hes also holding a sword be we already know tis. Burt is goldy son and sasky student so he is actually a FUSION of the 2. wait you dont believe me hold up heres some evidence!

Teen Burt is basically Narudo on the outside and Sasky on the outside, but also inside! teh sword, cloak and headband! BUT WAIT! LOOK AGAIN!

what do u tink sasky taught his student? why isnt he training saralda instead? imo onion its not fair burot gets both sassky and naruto powers. Will saralda punch the ground forever? will mitsuki learn from teh snakes like hary poter?

Boruto is a composite character. Looks like Naruto and uses several of his signature jutsu, student of Sasuke and uses a sword like him, has a scar over his eye and has a dojustu implanted as a replacement like Kakashi.

So far, the only thing original about him is that he's lazy and doesn't like to work hard for gains.

IMO this is retarded because most of these characters use their parents abilities, and look like their parents.

Regardless, Boruto has his own signature jutsu, aka the Vanishing Rasengan. Among others.

Sasuke was a student of Orochimaru and used Kusanagi, which is what Orochimaru used.

Kakashi had the Sharingan implanted in his eye, Boruto has a Byakugan.

Though we can't really be sure if that's a transplant.

There's more but it doesn't really matter cause originality is hard to come by.

We are lucky Boruto didn't want to become Hokage otherwise this story would of been completely unoriginal at large.

Boruto is way better written character than Naruto, he's unique and was born as a gifted prodigy unlike his father. Even Naruto himself stated that his son behavior was unprecedented neither like Naruto or Sasuke which means boruto has his own mixed traits from other characters as well his concept and his name is a reminiscent to his uncle neji. Which means Boruto is his own originality and ofc he has some personality aspect stems from his father and Sasuke except that he's far more disingenuous , more sarcastic type and has low enthusiasm. Kishi himself said that Boruto is more crafty, more refined and much more matured on how the world works.


Also Boruto is better off becoming some Anti-hero like Sasuke rather than some clitche Shonen Characters who preaches about friendship, rightfulness and forgivness. All this BS tnj like Naruto does

He reminds me of Goten. But yeah the only flaw I don't like him for is that he feels kinda bratty

You don't have to defend Kishi's laziness. Dude admitted as much (Shikadai being the most egregious example), but calling out it is still fair.

Well, have his own jutusu is something. It's more than I can say for the Dragon Ball characters who all **** ride the same Kamehameha. At least Vegeta comes up with new signature moves every fight.

That's why I used the word dojutsu. It encompasses Sharingan, Rinnegan and Byakugan. You forgot the part where Boruto has an eye scar similar to Kakashi and on the same side of his face as Kakashi.

There's more but it doesn't really matter cause originality is hard to come by.

The point I was trying to make, is that Boruto seems to be a character with the composite of attributes from popular characters from the Narutoverse.

Looks like Naruto, fights like Naruto and has several of his jutsus.

Trained under Sasuke and so far, he's picked up kenjutsu from him. Plus, Boruto wants to be a shinobi like Sasuke and wander outside the village and protect it from threats.

Also, Kakashi is really cool. Let's give him similar injuries, advantages and handicaps that are reminiscnet of the copy ninja.

It's not so much about originality, as TPTB deliberately going out of their way to make Boruto as similar to other popular characters of the same series. And like I said, only Boruto's attitude is unique to him. But everything else is borrowed.

It's funny, when you think about it.

And being an anti-hero in the vein of Sasuke isn't a cliche? Sasuke occupies the anti-hero cliche, but also the wandering ronin. A trope Japanese media is filled with

Pretty much every member of the Akatsuki was a wandering Ronin. Same goes for Zabuza, Oro, and Kabuto.

SMH, being similar to Sasuke in this regard is nothing special.

I got a Goten vibe too. Hopefully Boruto fares better than Goten did, as the latter's reasons for exisiting dried up half way through the Buu Saga and continued in GT and now in Super. SMH
