I like the lighting you used for both avatars.
Other great thing is that you have placed the text really good! My favorite out of both is the Naruto one. The Sauske one could been betetr with more radiant/vibrance, but great work nonetheless.

Finally, someone who just doesn't resize stocks and add a border. You put a good amount of effort to merge the render with the background, text placement could be a bit better.

Don't think the text could have been better place, it is already. It has a great flow with the focal point and Rafit, do some more avas out of renders rather than stocks. Renders are missed here.
